Change in c-index were calculated. For information when PRS-13 was added to traditional factors the change values were 0.033 for women and 0.040 for men.

@nanettemutrie @Ulf_Ekelund We used mendelian randomization, so not definitive, but at least suggestive of causality

@nanettemutrie @Ulf_Ekelund Absolutely. However our study showed that self-reported walking pace was casually associated with longer telomeres, confirmed with accelerometer movement intensity, but not overall volume. So whilst every step does count, brisk ones may count a bit more.

Why the brisk @proftomyates ? All walking good- surely- adherence, mental health, all steps count @Ulf_Ekelund
