@POferriesupdate Please stop tweeting things that are untrue or misleading. Our school trip has had to be cancelled after a 14-hour overnight delay and still no progress. Cannot say 5-6 hour delay at port, when have to queue to get even that far.

#PODOVER - We apologise for the wait times in Dover this morning. The current wait at the entrance to the Port of Dover is approximately 5-6 hours. Once coaches reach our check in desks they will be on the next crossing to Calais

We are confident we are insured. We are concerned about our driver hours. If we get a 9am ferry which is unlikely we will be in resort after midnight. Do we forge ahead? Do we turn around? We will always do our best. So sorry for the upset! 2/2

It is very slow here. We haven’t cleared passport control. Information is scarce. Parents please can you contact the trip phone to register your views. We acknowledge that this is an impossible situation but have had initial chats with insurers. 1/2

@RawlinsPE If staff and pupils are up for it and drivers are able to, would forge ahead!

This concept is one of my favorite changes to EASD/ADA consensus. Recognition of the “little things” that make such a difference. #EASD2022

@nanettemutrie @Ulf_Ekelund Absolutely. However our study showed that self-reported walking pace was casually associated with longer telomeres, confirmed with accelerometer movement intensity, but not overall volume. So whilst every step does count, brisk ones may count a bit more.
