Today we’re introducing Gemma 4 12B — our latest open model that brings advanced agentic reasoning, vision and audio directly to your laptop.
It delivers performance nearing our larger Gemma models with a much smaller total memory footprint, while being small enough to run locally with just 16GB of VRAM. It’s open and accessible for everyone to use under a permissive Apache 2.0 license.

恭喜🎉，感觉openAI很惜才，前手刚招了repoprompt的作者，现在又找了kitty的作者一起开发codex.
国内有些厂还在换语言拼cli😂，加油

personal update I'm joining @OpenAI to work on Codex! I think there are still a ton of great things to build on both mobile and desktop and there's no better team pushing that frontier than the Codex team. I'm super humbled and excited to be working with @ajambrosino @Dimillian @pvncher and a lot of other people I can't wait to meet! Now I just have to figure out how and where to hide the cats

Codex有个我认为很棒但大家都没用过的功能
这个就是Chronicle，开启后，Codex会不间断截图你的屏幕，开始拥有巨量上下文。
巨量上下文带来的好处是，你不用在输入冗余的信息给它。它给你的回答和帮助会更加个性化，越用越顺手。
但坏处是你的一些隐私可能泄露。之前有个产品叫rewind能做到这点，但停更了。
目前这个功能好像只有美国人才能用，反正我的Codex上没有。
