@PepeMaisIlegal @Matheus27020462 Mike was alright, plenty of people building upon his philosophy that more volume is not always better. He was just a little bit too autistic to realize that at the time Mr. Olympia was also a popularity contest and Arnold did way more to popularize bodybuilding than anyone

@Matheus27020462 But Mike is a winner too. And his "perfectionism" paid off in his perfect score and neat training philosophy, which I have applied, and gained 8kg in 3 months without roids, all natural.

Here he was definitely TG @YOHAMI There comes a point in a man's life when he has to choose between Arnold Schwarzenegger and Mike Mentzer. The happy, relaxed winner and the tense, perfectionist loser. 😹

@YOHAMI @Hitchslap1 Yeah, "high IQ problems" are mostly just emotional regulation problems in someone with a greater capacity for rationalization. Yet a higher IQ is also what makes someone more capable of the conceptualization necessary for overcoming them

The real question: Is there a point at which more IQ becomes a disadvantage? The answer seems fairly obvious.

@kevindmackay @M1chael__W @gregogallagher But I think the most noticeable high is usually through sprinting, HIIT and compound movements, like mike said in one of his tweets. They are known to causa transitory supression o shbg

@kevindmackay @M1chael__W @gregogallagher Have tried magnesium chloride but felt nothing (maybe because I took capsules and some people say it has better transdermal absorption), want to try glycinate and malate

You can build way more muscle on TRT than you can with 900 T naturally Sad, but true

@M1chael__W @gregogallagher If this isn't a thing yet than maybe it's difficult to achieve in a non-detrimental way

@rafaof_ @gregogallagher We need a peptide that unlocks more free testosterone… even a few % would make a huge difference since it’s only 1 to 4% of total testosterone Kind of weird how the emphasis has always been on purely increasing overall testosterone levels

@gregogallagher Must have to do with free testosterone levels…. Makes me think optimizing free testosterone is more important than overall testosterone levels.

@pleasemilf Yeah, definitely. Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending modern non-fiction garbage, I just think high fantasy in particular has become a saturated genre that often lacks the emotional value (no homo) that classic fiction offers. There are exceptions of course

@rafaof_ Like makes them smarter? I just think you have to be pretty smart to read it. Smarter than Atomic Habits or other mainstream stuff. Smarter than being able to read a Napoleon biography.

High Fantasy and Sci-Fi is much more difficult to read than pretty much all non-fiction and ‘classic’ fiction.

@pleasemilf idk i don't think i should look into it unless it's brought as a conversation topic in my social circle, in which case i try to show a little bit of interest

You’re honestly kind of strange if you’re not at least somewhat interested in celebrity culture and gossip.

Not that uncommon. I know a couple women that ran out on their husbands during a pregnancy only to feel back to normal afterwards.

@pleasemilf You said something once about how a certain type of woman is invisible to some guys depending on their lifestyle. I think this is usually the case with guys that believe this.

@Matheus27020462 @YOHAMI I don't think true expansion can happen while trying to hold on to something else, this is true for many things in life

@YOHAMI I've never been able to resolve this duality within myself. Because every time I'm in a more serious relationship, I start wanting other people.Without wanting to leave the first one behind.

@YOHAMI It's not like he was sacrificing for a complete stranger to buy her love. They were already engaged. I asked you once what was the right thing to do and you answered "don't have transactional relationships". Does it mean this is the only reason to do this kind of thing?

I mean, you can count calories for a week or two and you'll figure out your maintenance calories. The problem with CICO is that forcing a deficit in such a mechanical way has a cost vs fixing the conditions that made you fat to begin with. But in the short term, it works. I don't think anyone can deny that.

The CICO people have always been really funny to me "It's just calories in/calories out, man. It's a thermodynamic law. Burn more energy than you consume and you'll lose weight" "Okay. How many calories do I burn daily?" "Well nobody really knows, you just make up a number and then if it seems wrong we change it later" "Hmmm, that seems a lot less scientific than you initially lead me to believe. It's hard to believe this is thermodynamics anymore" "It's not really, I just wanted you to think I was smart you'd pay me to fitness coach you. Business slowed down a lot since they came out with Ozempic. I'm starting to worry it's over for me"
