In a stunning & predictable display of rage, Donald Trump declared today that he is “done negotiating” with Canada. Why? Because PM Mark Carney refused to pay what sources are calling a “one-time loyalty fee” to the US for the privilege of trading with the U.S #cdnpoli

Today's crowded urban road networks are only viable because of road users who walk, cycle or use public transport. If all were to drive then gridlock would follow. It makes sense for drivers to welcome urban/village 20mph limits to maintain the viability of their own mobility choice.

American propaganda is unlike anything the world's ever witnessed—it's mind-blowing! 🤯 As a Norwegian, critical thinking was ingrained in me. Trump's lies are easily debunked, yet so many still believe them. Why? 🤔

The climate crisis isn’t equal: 💔 The poorest 50% cause just 10% of emissions but suffer 75% of the damage. 🌍 Global South faces droughts & floods while rich nations delay action. Real solutions must center justice. #ClimateJustice #LossAndDamage

I call on the Australian government to #RaiseTheRate of all support payments to a living wage. This would be the single most effective way to lift the productivity, quality of life, and well-being of the whole country. #CommitToALivingWage #DoIt

Before Australia spends one more $ on AUKUS it is imperative Defence Minister ⁦@RichardMarlesMP⁩ publishes the contract fine print guaranteeing that our Defence Department will receive/operate these nuclear powered submarines. ⁦@michaelkoziol⁩ 👇

Today’s EPA announcement ignores the blindingly obvious reality of the climate crisis and sidelines the EPA’s own scientists and lawyers in favor of the interests and profits of the fossil fuel industry. Weakening safeguards that reduce greenhouse gas pollution will harm American competitiveness in a global economy that is moving away from oil, gas, and coal and will increase the suffering of communities that are overburdened by the dirty co-pollutants caused by burning fossil fuels.

These tiny wind turbines are designed for rooftops. They measure only 3 metres by 3 metres. They can sit on the edge of a roof and are small enough to squeeze in alongside solar panels. We have so many solutions. Implement them. #ActOnClimate #ClimateAction #renewables

A guy drove over an elderly woman and killed her, presumably because he couldn't see her. No one can figure out why he might not have seen her in this clownshow of a truck. p.s. Any 16-year-old can drive this thing without special training.
