I think Rosenheck is missing the forest for the trees here.
The cited example of the West End Library is an example of an EXTREMELY successful melding of public resource and private residences. Same thing for the nearby Fire/EMS station on M Street.
This is simply #NIMBY fear.

Morality is not the exclusive domain of the pious, Trevor.
Believe what you want in terms of gods or goddesses, but morality based on religious writ is often far from equitable or kind.
Secular morality has proven more robust, fair, and just. Utah is finally learning this.
