@Sandeman52 if you are looking at being zoned for Farragut schools, that does shrink the number of neighborhoods actually on the water down quite a bit, but you're literally ten minutes from a marina anywhere in Farragut.

Does anyone here live in eastern Tennessee? If so, how do you like it?

@Sandeman52 that's where my kids are in school. My wife's on two of the PTAs and has been since there were in kindergarten.

Are school districts or kids a concern? If not that widens the scope. To be close to west Knoxville, there are some nice but more expensive homes on Fort Loudon Lake. If you don't want to be right on the water, there are some really nice homes in subdivisions that are close to the lake.

@Sandeman52 it's a good life. If you want to live on a lake or the river, that's an option too.

@Sandeman52 if you want land, you can find it, if you want a nice house in a ruralish suburb, you can find that too. Hit me up in DMs if you have any questions, if I don't know i'll have a neighbor who will.

@MurrayHillGuy1 just cancel, when you get to the end of the process, they will negotiate and you can get the same price or close to it.

Kinda respect what just happened My internet bill tripled this month because some 5 year promo ended I called asking if they could bring it back, they said no So I hit them with the “alright then I’ll just cancel” Lady immediately goes “sounds good, let’s get that cancelled for you right now” Completely called my bluff, and I went into pussy mode. folded instantly and will now be staying a Spectrum customer

@AnthropicAI I had an interesting experience today. I set up a free account on Feb 8 for my wife using our gmail account on our personal laptop at home. I set up the account, logged in, tried Claude and then moved on to other things. Today at work, on my work desktop computer, I went to Anthropic.com and clicked on the Try Claude button. To my surprise, Claude AUTOMATICALLY logged me in using the gmail credentials I used at home when I set up the account for my wife. The problem with this is I've never logged into my personal gmail at work. Not once.... I've also never used my personal laptop at work, or my work desktop at home. How did Claude.AI accurately identify me as the user on my work desktop and then log me in using gmail credentials that do not exist on my work system? The only thing I could deduce is I have a couple of websites that I log in to at work and at home (pandora and trading view). I will note I do not log in to those websites using my gmail account, i have a username and password for each. Is Anthropic using third party cookies to track and identify users across devices and associating them with those devices? And why is Claude assuming the user will approve of their gmail credentials being used on a system where they didn't previously exist? I was not asked to enter a password, the credentials were just "pulled" and used to log me in automatically. I'm not a privacy or computer expert, but this seems to be an issue that someone could exploit. I tried to use your AI bot to ask about this but it said all the agents were busy.

@EricTheUmpire Looks like $DMYY's PIPE investors include Dell, Tencent, and one of the Singaporean government's investment funds. See page 296 of the F-4.

A healthy line-up of XRP ETFs approved and trading, Ripple getting conditional approval for their banking license, Hidden Road deal closing, Monetary Authority of Singapore's Major Payment Institution license expansion, CME's launch of spot XRP futures, RLUSD topping 1 Billion USD in market cap, the regulatory clarity from the dropped lawsuits and a crypto positive SEC ( ok that one was in August), a nice valuation and funding round for Ripple, plus all of the preliminary plumbing and infrastructure buildout you post about regularly. XRP's price performance with all of the above....it's worst quarterly performance in 2 years. I'm not asking to be snarky, I'm invested in XRP and I think it is one of the next big things in the maturity and expansion of crypto into the financial infrastructure of the world. The divergence was just a bit striking (haven't sold a thing either). And I'm enjoying the start of a nice move up today (hopefully the first of many).

BlackRock — they’re not rushing, they’re engineering dominance when it comes their upcoming XRP ETF. It’ll likely happen in January. 1. Past behavior is the roadmap - in life, love and business. BlackRock didn’t “innovate” with BTC or ETH ETFs. They waited. Bitcoin: waited for Grayscale to win the legal fight Ethereum: waited for futures depth, custody, and surveillance to be boring Then launched and absorbed liquidity Same playbook. Different rail. 2. What’s required (and what they’re waiting for) Not hype. Infrastructure. For sures ☑️ Regulated futures & surveillance: CME Group, Coinbase, Bitnomial ☑️ Custody that clears institutional risk committees ☑️ Legal clarity already tested in court (not theory) Maybes •Let smaller issuers stress-test flows •Let liquidity prove it can handle creation/redemption at scale BlackRock doesn’t go first. They go last — and take most of the flow, and still finish 1st 3. The Setup how accumulation actually happens: They don’t buy on Coinbase candles. They source through: •OTC desks •Dark pools •Hedge fund intermediaries Blocks matched quietly. Supply sourced without lighting up the order book. This is how you seed an ETF without moving price before you’re ready. 4. Legal Timing Matters Bitcoin didn’t get BlackRock until after Grayscale broke the wall. XRP may not need to wait that long. Different facts. Different settlement posture. Different utility classification. 5. Why XRP Fits the Plumbing This isn’t just a spot product thesis. •Ripple sits inside settlement flows •XRPL already clears value, not narratives •RLUSD becomes the on-ramp (this is huge) As RLUSD volume grows: More transactions settle on XRPL More XRP is touched, posted, and recycled XRP becomes usable collateral inside AMMs 6. Tokenization is the multiplier This is where it connects — •BlackRock + Securitize → BUIDL •Ondo Finance + Ripple → OUSG on XRPL Treasuries. Repos. Treasury management. Interoperable, tokenized assets need fast, final settlement rails. BlackRock benefits when those rails already exist. And they profit — a lot. This will increase their profits substantially. Engineering Dominance They don’t sit in the pipes. They sit above them. An XRP ETF isn’t about chasing price. It’s about owning the distribution layer once the plumbing is finished. Making sure they’re legally in the clear, no backlash. If you’re tired of hype and prefer reading the filings before the opinions, follow along. This stuff only makes sense once you see the system, not the chart or moon-posts.
