@MissFushiGaming I’ve always liked the sound of something covering the mic on asmr. The cover mutes the sounds a bit and I imagine a mailer being plastic and thick dampens things!

@vxunderground After reading it, agreed. I especially don’t understand as people on X deserve the info they are posting on the other platforms as they note in that statement. Very contradictory, this doesn’t affect me much as I use Bluesky too but this seems rooted in bad faith.

I don't understand this take.
The EFF is leaving X because, according to them, they dislike how content is "walled" within one organization, instead emphasizing the importance of something like Mastodon and the Fediverse where you are in more control of your data.
While this makes sense on paper at first glance, it doesn't explain why the EFF continues to use TikTok, Facebook, Threads, Instagram, TikTok and BlueSky.

I’m sorry I may be unsteady and unreliable at times.
