It was certainly the term.
5-year deal will take Marchessault to 38, which is not idea.
It is worth noting that Vegas didn’t have a problem taking on Tomas Hertl’s contract that takes him to 36 at $6.75M.
And he’s not the most important player to ever wear a VGK jersey.

@SinBinVegas You could see/sense it. Mantha needs to sit Ammo back in to win those board battles Cassidy said we lost. How many SOG or hits did Mantha have? At least Howden floored a couple stars.

Cassidy mentioned that the team looked a bit tired on the ice last night.
Said the gameplan from the coaches has to be better to get the guys ready to play but it's also up to the guys to win races and battles which didn't happen last night.
