Endless complaints about losing scientific institutions, and losing cultural influence, while claiming to be the stewards of truth and rationality just serve as amusement. But the sad kind.

For years I had conversations on here with an academic arguing for racial hierarchies. Now that person has dropped any pretense of scholarly thought.
I don't believe in debate culture, but sometimes the winner of a social debate is very clear.

@rasmansa Make the account private. Enable multi factor and use a long complicated pass phrase. Set periodic reminder to refresh password and keep the account alive but parked.
If you just delete it, someone else can claim the name and sometimes the messages associated with it.
