British democracy is under greater threat than at any point in my lifetime. Trump, Musk and Putin are trying to destroy it from outside, while Farage and Reform are doing their best to import Trump’s divisive brand of MAGA politics here.

Finally, in Darren Jones, there is a Labour minister who is beginning clearly to spell out the story of this government.

Is there a sense of frustration among some journalists and commentators that they STILL haven’t managed to bring Starmer down as PM?

Nigel Farage asked on BBC news this morning if he'd debate with me. Says he's too busy with the local elections & it will just be a "big row." I've been asking him for months. Someone's running scared? Vote Green.

Christopher Harborne, the Thai-based British billionaire who has donated £12m to Reform UK and £5m to Nigel Farage for his security, has given his first and only interview to the Telegraph. Full details on our website later today.

Donald Trump has shown nothing but contempt for our country. Only Keir Starmer, Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage could think it’s a good idea to send our King to honour him with a state visit.

Ed stands up for Britain at its best, a country where people look out for each other, where public services work, and where politics is about fixing problems not stoking division.

@HoltChris I don’t understand why the neutral venue wasn’t kept to be either at Villa Park, Old Trafford or Hillsborough.

Mike - your party is actively breaking the country whilst the PM nationally has lost any remaining credibility. We could barely muster a warship to Cyprus which then had to return to port after more problems. Our service personal are the very best of us yet Starmer and Hermer treat them with utter disdain. It is very simple - you cannot have growth with the highest energy prices in the developed world due to Ed Milliband’s crazed ideological pursuit of absolute Net Zero. Housebuilding has collapsed under Steve Reed with Youth unemployment topping Europe for the first time. Labour are doing very real and lasting damage to the UK with welfare payments now outstripping tax receipts - this is not sustainable. The one positive legacy of your failing government is that it reminds the nation to keep Labour in the political wilderness for generations to come.
