Newcastle fans won't like this but someone has to say it... Sunderland are the bigger club in the North East and it's not even close 🤣 📊 League Titles: 6-4 🏆 FA Cups: 2-1 👥 Fanbase: Bigger 📚 History: Actual ⚔️ Head-to-Head: 7-3 Newcastle's whole identity is just "we have a big stadium" and Saudi oil money 💀 Geordies about to have a meltdown but facts don't care about your feelings 🤡 RT to ruin a Newcastle fan's day 😭

@Dave_H_King @northernassist @TVLRUG Hi im Dave, I do hiking in my spare time, but I can't stand for a few minutes on a station platform, whilst Northern Rail staff do the necessary checks so customers are safe before opening the doors. But I can be an arsehole and try and make the company look bad on social media

Usual story, 4 mins to ko, crew on board in the warm, doors still closed. Passengers shivering on the draughty platform. @northernassist @TVLRUG

The bullshit news around the club continues, if it's not the players it's the owners. It's all aimed at unsettling things! AGAIN! #NUFC

The importance of learning. Fascinating listening to Lewis Hall speaking after England training at St George’s Park. Hall spoke at length about his hunger to learn and develop. Newcastle United left-back has learned from recent experiences, good and bad, playing against elite wide players like Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal in the last 16 of the Champions League. Hall did well against Yamal in the drawn first leg at St James’ Park, although the Spanish international converted a late pen. Hall: “I was very pleased the way I performed. I'd say the same in the second leg for the first half, I was reasonably happy.” Yamal showed his threat just before half-time and then ran riot in the second half. “These players are the best players in the world. Sometimes they can't necessarily be at their level for the full 90 minutes, but even when they’re not at their best, they show their quality in moments throughout the game. He’s someone when the team is not doing well he can change the scoreline by himself. He's definitely a special player.” As well as Yamal, Hall has faced Antoine Semenyo, Bryan Mbeumo and Mo Salah in recent weeks, continuing his education. “You've got to test yourself against the best. I went through a short time-frame where I've had a lot of games playing against the top players in the world. It’s a difficult challenge, but I wanted that challenge. It's been a learning curve.” He learned breaking through at Chelsea, especially from senior pros like Thiago Silva. “Although he didn't necessarily speak much English, he was so good to me. He always wanted to help me improve. He was playing a lot of games at the time and still taking time on the training pitch to help me. I’m really grateful.” Eddie Howe has been an important teacher at Newcastle. “He's been a massive help for me. He’s done so much to help me be in the position I am now. He's helped me a lot off the pitch in ways to be around the training ground, and how to interact with all the lads. And then on the pitch, he’s showed a lot of belief in me, and taught me a lot about the defensive side of my game, which was the main area I needed to improve when I first joined. He spent a lot of time staying behind after training, working with me. I'm always grateful for that. Top coach.” #CFC #NUFC #ENG

We want more creative jobs in the North East. So, we’re investing £2m to open a new @NewWritingNorth Centre for Writing and Publishing in the North East in the Old Post Office building in Newcastle. For too long, talented people in these industries had to to go London to succeed. I have promised to fix that. With this investment we’re a step closer to writers, publishers and creatives having the home they need to tell the our story and tell it here.

🚨💣 | EXCLUSIVE: Slight update - As i said #MUFC want to do early work similar to the Cunha deal. 👀🔴 Bear in mind Bruno Guimarães has the same agent, and I’ve been told the inquiry was accepted. The player has indicated he wants a move to Manchester United. 🤝 Newcastle are demanding a minimum £80m+, and United want to get it done. Some internally feel it’s a risk Vivell prefers Stiller, while Wilcox wants Bruno. As said, United will find a way and want to move quickly, but won’t look to overpay. Personal terms are not an issue. Let’s see what happens. ⏳🔥 #MUFC | #BrunoGuimaraes | #Transfers | #PremierLeague

Our record against Sunderland is baffling. We are by far the better side, by far the bigger club with a much bigger fanbase. It honestly makes no sense. The only way I can explain it is that for them it’s a cup final and for us, it’s a big derby #HWTL

This woman and her daughter come and knock on the door of this college house where the students get a parking spot in the driveway and the other two roommates park in the street. The woman is an asthmatic and claims that she always parks in a certain spot and that everyone else is aware and respects it. She tells them to move the car and not to park there anymore. The student refutes it and says it’s public street parking and she has no right to claim it. Why is this woman arguing with them when she can call the city and ask to designate a handicap spot for her, is she being out of line?

The personal abuse eddie howe has received is a joke. Eddie in or Eddie out is irrelevant, he's a human being who puts 100% into being our manager. Show some respect to a man who's given us years of his life. #NUFC
