So of all the things this weekend, the most unbelievable moment occurred at UFC London. Meeting absolute ROYALTY of British music history - the one and only @NoelGallagher - growing up as a young adult, our generation when Oasis came along changed the game. I’ve seen Oasis indoors, outdoors and remain a life long fan. Noel, to me is a musical genius and meeting him was so special. In fact it blew me away he stood up and came over and told me he and his sons watches all the time and they’re huge fans of the sport. I was speechless and yes, genuinely star struck. I’ve met some genuine mega stars and celebrities all over the world because of & through the UFC but this one is right up there, a memory I’ll cherish. I’ve been granted so many wonderful memories through this sport and I’ll never forget them or take them for granted. Moments like this will stay with me forever and I can’t fully put into words my gratitude. #fortune ❤️

If you watch the early prelims and prelims each week, you will realise we are getting banging fights. If you are tuning in for the “big” fights you will be disappointed. That’s not the fault of the UFC. They are giving us names v names on the main card, but they don’t bang.

@robchocs i think my expectations are just tempered. I’m not 100% judging my excitement based on knowing people don’t love S8. But i fully expect jennifer will be the star once again

Dexter S7E12 “Surprise, Motherf**ker!” “You don't even walk like a normal person. You glide, like a fucking lizard on ice.” It’s as grand and spectacular as you could ever hope a Season finale would be. In many ways it could act as a truly perfect finale to the series altogether. It’s really that good. It feels like such a celebration and conclusion in it’s presentation. The weight those flashbacks scenes have with Doakes and how it’s blended into the ongoing narrative is utterly incredible. This entire episode flows unbelievably well and the inclusion of those flashbacks will go down as some of my favourite things about S7. Love the position Maria closing in on Dexter & Debra’s secret brought to the episode. And to Dexter as a character especially. Breaking the code entirely to predict his and Deb’s future and the conflict he has with himself and Harry about going too far. He’s far from a great person but it’s so interesting how there’s still a line that’s going too far. And it ultimately resulting in no blood on his hands because Debra is the one to make the kill shot. These are the things i can’t wait to explore in S8. Such incredible moral character work. The whole episode feels like a mirror of when Doakes labeled Dexter as the Bay Harbour Butcher back in S2, it’s clearly intentional and it’s so fucking effective. Maria walking him through the department in cuffs will remain one of my all time visuals of this show. And once again those flashbacks just add that amazing special touch. So nice to have Erik King return for them. S7 is the Dexter & especially Debra show. They’re closer and at odds more than ever before, It’s character progression done to perfection from the very beginning until the very end. And as i said, Debra being the one to kill Maria is the cherry on top for a story we’ve spent all of S7 (And even before) expertly crafting. Without a doubt some of my favourite Characters work in any series. I have to sit on it. But this is a certified all time great Dexter episode. It’s top 10 of the show. And i couldn’t have imagined a better way to end an incredible S7. That ending, dialogue and all is truly a perfect scene. No notes.
