My first collection republished. "This is an impressive first collection and beautifully published on quality laid paper. The poems have an easy strength and a directness that is strangely enchanting. Cullen most reminds me of Pablo Neruda not in style but sensibility.

Today is Gŵyl Fair y Canhwyllau (Mary's Festival of the Candles), which is celebrated on Candlemas Day in Wales. 🕯️ Marking the gradual change from winter to spring, people lit candles, and in some homes, "every pane in the kitchen was illuminated in this way." #folkloresunday
