Bangalore has a new startup campus, a place to live, work, learn, and build. @dsh_india has just launched Tower 2 right besides the existing Tower 1.
I was there for the launch and it was incredible to see both towers buzzing with young entrepreneurs building their dreams together.
A new chapter is just getting started.

I asked my blonde neighbor how she lost her husband Johnny.
She told me her sad story. "Well, he needed a blood transfusion, but his blood type was not on his record, so the doctors asked me if I knew what it was, as they urgently needed to know in order to save my Johnny's life. Tragically, I've never known his blood type, so I only had time to sit and say goodbye.
I'll never forget how supportive my Johnny was.
Even as he was fading away, he kept whispering to me, 'Be positive, be positive!' That was my Johnny! Always thinking of others.

Wonder what @SuryahSG has to do to get an MLA seat?
Get a 6-pack? walk upside down? coz, mere connection with the local people, being available whenever needed, helping them during times of disress and having a sane mind that can effectively defend the BJP don't seem enough!

Last year, a friend asked me for ₹5 lakh, promising to return it within a week. I trusted him and gave money, but getting it back was a long struggle.
I had to remind him many times throughout the year. Once, he even asked me to collect ₹1 lakh from his family in cash. Eventually, he returned the full amount, but in instalments.
Today morning, he called again asking for ₹2 lakh. At that moment, I wondered how he could even ask again after what happened.
One important lesson I learned is never lend a large amount of money to anyone. Only lend amount that you can afford to lose, so even if it doesn’t come back, it won’t disturb your peace.

Hornbill paradise
Somewhere in Valparai Tamil Nadu
India has 9 Hornbill species, of which 4 are found in the Western Ghats. Hornbills need cavities in large native trees to nest as they can not excavate their own nest. That is why their survival depends upon the survival of native trees in tropical forest. We need to therefore protect the entire ecosystem in which they thrive. I would like to heartily congratulate the new owners of RCB. I wish them the very best and Godspeed with the most valuable IPL franchise. When I bought the franchise in 2008 for INR 450 crores, most people laughed at me and criticised my investment as a vanity project. Behind my much touted madnesses was building the Royal Challenge brand and hence I named the franchise RCB. Immensely gratifying to see my INR 450 crore investment grow to INR 16,500 crores. RCB will always remain a part of my DNA with indelible memories including picking the young Virat Kohli who is now amongst the best in the World. To all RCB fans who came on board during my stewardship and beyond, a grateful thank you and please continue to support RCB the Lion of Bengaluru. Namaskara.

Back when I was trading in Bharat, years before we opened our own factory, I sourced a great product.
Visited the factory, met the owner, did my due diligence, everything checked out ✅
Pitched to overseas clients, months of negotiations, prices finalized, samples approved, details locked in.
Deals were confirmed and purchase orders sent.
Then… complete silence from the factory.
No replies to calls, messages, or emails. Radio silence.
With orders already placed and pressure mounting, I flew up to the factory to confront him.
Cornered him and asked straight:
“What the fuck is going on?”
His sheepish reply: “Papa ne mana kiya.”
He was a 40-year-old grown man.
I was livid.
Abhay gadhe… if Papa is the boss, why the hell were you calling the shots??
Had to embarrassingly explain the situation to my buyers. They were annoyed, orders were cancelled.
Looking back, I should actually thank that man child.
He was one of the reasons I decided to open my own factory in Bharat.
Too many variables, all the control in others hands.
I know he will read this. Thank you, my friend.
🙏
You pushed me to do better.
Control is king👑
