Foreign grads of US schools are 15% cheaper to hire in the US because of FICA exemptions for the first 3 years of employment. US students can't find jobs while our government derails the start of their career in favor of foreigners. Americans LAST...again! @POTUS ??

I get DMs all the time asking: “Where do I report H-1B abuse or hiring discrimination?” Here’s the official DOJ link: justice.gov/crt/reporting-… If you’ve seen: • jobs restricted to visa holders • Americans passed over or replaced • questionable hiring practices This is where you report it. Please share.

And Trump has DONE NOTHING and will DO NOTHING to stop it. All of this falls on deaf ears with this administration. His 100k H1B fee has so many exemptions that it applies to virtually no one. That is deliberate, and he basically lied to shut everyone up. That is who we're dealing with. The rest of these companies get a 5k fine for doing what would land you a labor law court if it didn't involve favoring foreigners. They happily pay it, because the save far more than that each year by replacing US workers with foreigners, mostly Indians.

HHS should create a regulation providing that no U.S. hospital can lawfully accept a foreign residency applicant until all U.S. residency applicants first have slots. No hospital or educational entity accepting federal funds should see its funding continue if it offers foreigners residency slots over U.S.-born residents. It’s ridiculous we don’t already have such a system. So much of America before Trump has been allowed to lapse into a “Foreigners First” system. It has to change.
Mary Talley Bowden MD@MaryBowdenMD

Over the past 10 years, the US has seen a steady rise in foreign medical students taking US student residency spots. Every year, 1000+ US medical students fail to match, while 6000+ FMGs do match. About half of unmatched students find a spot, but they must still compete with FMGs for the leftover positions, leaving 500 - 600 US medical students with a worthless medical degree.

@SteveJarz @MaryBowdenMD You cannot defend importing thousands of foreigners while excluding US citizens so you break out the race card. Typical. Your race card is declined. Do you have another form of argument?

And while you're at it, stop shopping at Lowes. If they can't hire US software engineers, then they shouldn't get your business. Which jobs are next on their list for replacing US citizens with foreigners? These companies are garbage and they don't give a damn about this country.

Plenty of standard software engineering positions at Lowe's in Charlotte NC in the print newspaper today. You won't find these positions on the Lowe's company website, because these are all PERM market tests only advertised in the print newspaper and on the NC SWA site. Apply today, qualified Americans!

It absolutely should be and our system should be set up to provide AMERICAN students with the opportunity become doctors in numbers that meet our needs. It is ridiculous that we don't do that, and it is obviously deliberate. And, stop acting like becoming a doctor is some act of genius that requires a worldwide search. It's bullshit and the drivers of the situation in the US have NOTHING to do with serving patients and everything to do with the dollar.

@rtpbuc1 @MaryBowdenMD When it comes to medicine and surgery, I don’t think nationality should be a preference. One should get the best of the best and let them work. Competitiveness rather than nationality should be the goal.

We could have MORE THAN ENOUGH US residents. Explain why we don't. 330 million people can't create enough doctors for their own nation while every other nation on the planet can export them. Go ahead, I'm all ears. It is DELIBERATE, obviously, and the purpose has nothing to do with serving patients.

@Deirdre41108570 @rtpbuc1 @MaryBowdenMD Cite this law. A US graduate is at an absolutely massive advantage over a graduate from Pakistan. US graduates can more or less walk into a residency slot (not necessarily their first choice) while Pakistanis need to pull off a heroic effort to match in the us

Trump has done nothing to stop it. We need real America and Americans first representation, no "governance" or "leadership", representation, which is supposed to be their job. We deserve better, and I'm not going to pretend he's not what he is, great on foreign trade policy in many ways, but still a globalist who has little to no loyalty to US citizens. The entire republican party can be burnt to ashes if the "results" are global labor arbitrage, our best and brightest subordinated to foreign imported labor while they do their best impression of democrats with lies and window dressing like the 100k fee that applies to virtually no one. I despise a liar worse than someone who openly hates me. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone.

Well I guess I give you that. "They" don't care! Hell, it's true, Democrats don't even bother to lie about it anymore. But the only message getting rid of Trump is going to send is that the USA is open for takeover. I mean, seriously, what's the difference? The only difference I can see is that Democrats roll out a free-for-all welcome mat, and Republicans say, a few at a time. Either way it's the same result but at least with Republicans, we might have a little time to wake the hell up and maybe TRY to fight it before we add hordes of uneducated & expendable possible combatants swarming the borders along with the educated ones running the operation.

H-1B lottery complete: 71% of applicants are Indian nationals, 5x more registrants than visa slots, and absolutely zero cuts to visa numbers for 2026. And while the number of registrants is down, there were still almost 5x the number of registrants as there were visa slots. Here's the data: Key statistics for the FY 2026 H-1B cap include: Total Eligible Registrations: 343,981 (a 26.9% decrease from FY 2025). Total Unique Beneficiaries: 336,153. Total Selected Registrations: 120,141. Total Unique Beneficiaries Selected: 118,660. Selection Rate: Approximately 35.3% of unique beneficiaries were selected, up from 29% in FY 2025. American tech workers receive no relief from the flood of foreign workers taking the dwindling number of American tech jobs. The Trump admin is engaged in performative nonsense vs. any real reform or reductions.

@WHLeavitt I look at it this way. As far as the Muslims are concerned, it is Full Speed Ahead. Islam, like it or not, is a religion. Our first amendment gives them protections and rights. This is going to be one fuck of a battle...

I think he's a liar on this subject. No, I don't think it will fix it but it WILL send a message. These people don't care about US citizens, they care about power, and yes, I include Trump in that, based on his actions. At least THEY won't bother pretending the care about US citizen workers.

There aren't nearly enough people who remember and appreciate that President Biden added 2.2 million jobs to the economy in his last year, while trump only added 185,000 during his first year, in 2025. We were BETTER under Biden. RT TO SPREAD THE WORD.
