@AladdinSchools any idea why the parent app crashes almost every time I use it? 2nd attempt works fine. On an iPhone device, have deleted app and reinstalled, have signed out and signed back in and closed and reopened. Anyone else have these issues?

@Thinkingschool2 My husband estimated one year during a really intense period of recitals, productions and rehearsals etc. I was making the hourly rate of about €2.50! It was worth it though.

Just imagine if all teaching staff were actually paid for all the hours that they actually work.

@gabrielledrolet Great for high functioning mail reliant types but I’ve rarely used Outlook since COVID times with the arrival of teams! Why do people insist on sending invites via Outlook calendar, so much easier to keep it all in Teams! Anyone else feel the same?

Microsoft outlook is awesome because it’s like. what if we made the worst email platform in the world and then forced everyone to use it for work and school

Yesterday my parents & their amazing neighbours hosted the yearly street party for the grandkids 🎉 they’re all in their late 60s-70s. The main conversation, the cost of electricity for the bouncy castle. We need a more equitable way to address rising costs! @MichealMartinTD

So this is the time criteria used by ⁦@EnergiaEnergy⁩ to cost our electricity use. 3 observations 1) day runs until 11pm?, 2) what’s this peak business & what’s the rationale for it? & 3) is this time blocking standard across all providers or do companies ‘make it up’?

@simonlewis I would suggest however that long breaks might be lead to decreased motivation, might a more strategic approach to holidays be more conducive to learning - 8 week blocks with 2 week gaps for example. As a teacher of over 20 years I find the long holidays have a negative impact.
