I have always been proud of telling our cohort’s story to the IENs on how we survived during the pandemic. We arrived a week before the national lockdown was announced. The pandemic taught me resilience, discipline including high value for life and wellbeing. I had a bittersweet first year in the UK. However, my experiences during the pandemic honed by clinical knowledge and skills. It gave me confidence to try other roles which aligns with what I am passionate in doing - teaching.
4 years later, I am still teaching and I would not have reached to this point without those encounters, the people who have incessantly supported my insane ideas and the respect that I have developed over the years towards this role. And I have always associated success with boldness. Because if others can do it, why can’t you?
Happy 4th Anniversary to me and to Cohort 14 ❤️
