Dune Awakening is cooked! Its player count dipped under their 8-year-old Conan Exiles. 💀 #StarCitizen is staring at that same waterfall trend like, "yeah, we're next." Meanwhile Arc Raiders is popping off while Helldivers 2 circles the drain next to Dune. 🚽 #pcgaming #GTA6 Games like Helldivers 2 and Dune Awakening burn bright but fade fast because scripted, curated content has a natural expiration date... once you've seen it, you're bored. There's not much replay value. In contrast, PvP-driven sandboxes like DayZ and Rust last for years because the players ARE the content: every fight, betrayal, alliance, ambush, or chaotic moment is unpredictable and endlessly repayable. Emergent gameplay simply doesn't get old, while scripted loops inevitably do, no matter how polished they are.

Show me your papers! This is what Garlic Girl has to go through every time she wants to come in and out of her property. This is dystopian on its face but it is actually one of the more calm and cordial checkpoint experiences she has had, much of that due to the officer with the long hair who has taken time to talk to her and has developed a working relationship with her. Almost all of the other experiences going through this checkpoint have been far worse, I will be sharing those next.
