Coffee has had a huge impact on my life - opening doors relationally and creatively. This documentary I worked on is part of that. We explored Guatemala coffee farms to highlight women becoming land owners, sons learning from their fathers, and indigenous people caring for their land. Pride, sustainability, and hard work summarize all of the characters.

As a 15 year customer and user… I think they will struggle. The products really haven’t evolved that much in the past decade and they are painfully slow and buggy compared to their peers. 15 years ago they were the only option and now there are tons of better faster cheaper options and they are stuck because they refused to adapt.

Have you imagined the BEAR case scenario though? Because there is one. I own the stock, with an almost $10k cost basis, so I want to be straight about both cases. Bull case: They are deferring price hikes to build the freemium funnel, which can be an offensive move. Convert the 850M MAUs later, and pricing power returns. ARR miss is temporary. Bear case: they can't raise prices anymore without losing users to Canva and AI-native tools. The freemium pivot reframes a competitive constraint as a strategy. That's moat erosion dressed up as a plan. You cannot tell which is right yet. The deciding data point is Q3 September. If MAU keeps growing and paid conversion doesn't follow, bears start winning. I'm holding with a clearly defined exit trigger. Not blind conviction. Just waiting for the one number that resolves the debate.

$ADBE was really cheap to me at 340$. Even more attractive at 300$. Then it even dropped to 250$, which I thought was impossible for this quality business. Now it sits under 200$. Dafuqq?? Literally debating with myself to go into generational debt for this one. 7x Forward P/E, PEG ratio 0.6. Rev Growth 10%ish. P/FCF 7.6. Even if Rev only grows 5% we still get a 15% CAGR here. And imagine the possible buybacks over the next quarters. And now IMAGINE THE BULL CASE scenario. Idk man.

Ive been a CC user since the day it launched. They do this almost yearly and all you do is call and tell them you're going to cancel and they drop your price back down to what it was before or even less. It's a known thing in the creative industry. They have amazing capture in agencies (like MS teams does) but for smaller teams and independent creatives many are leaving to better alternatives. They're in a tough spot IMO.

$ADBE sends notice to customers of incoming 50% price increases for mobile apps, company reportedly begins pushing Ai content through Adobe Cloud standard plans in preparation of removing the cheaper plan to push customers to Creative Cloud Pro. This is information coming from customers, not yet released by the company.

@p_millerd The elephant in the room is that the biggest problem with our healthcare system is lack of personal responsibility. 90% of healthcare spending is for chronic illness related to lifestyle.

i think capitalism is awesome but people are rightly going to feel annoyed at trillionaires existing when the richest country in the world has a healthcare system that undermines the dignity of patients and participants in the system this has clearly been one of the biggest issues that every political party has decided to basically punt on

Over the weekend I deposited a check into business account with @bankwithrelay account. Their system added an EXTRA ZERO to the deposit and pulled 10x the check amount from my clients account. The amount exceeds the mobile deposit limit so it is a massive failure on their system. Their system didn't even catch the error, and when I phoned them, a customer service person told me they would be in touch via email.
