Former Square Enix executive Jacob Navok has said that Sony appears to have little faith in Bungie’s Marathon due to the very limited marketing push behind the game.
Navok wrote: “Sony owns a ton of digital real estate on the Playstation dashboards to push Marathon. It’s lack of marketing push to support the numbers speaks to the lack of faith from the platform holder.”
He added: “GAAS games don’t grow organically. The dirty secret is most of them grow through marketing and UA spend. Sony has left this one for dead.”
Marathon launched on March 5, 2026 and reached a peak of approximately 88,000 concurrent players on Steam at launch but has since declined sharply
The gaming news site TheGamer shows their double standards again by publishing an article about the new game Neverness to Evernes claiming the game is already being turned into the ultimate “gooner game.”
They criticize how some players use the first-person camera to focus on female characters in suggestive ways.
The same site also ran a story calling the Resident Evil Requiem character Leon Kennedy “a hot uncle.”

EU Vice-President “suggests”restricting VPNs to prevent citizens from circumventing EU's age-restrictions of the Internet
EU Vice-President Henna Virkkunen is helping roll out a new EU age verification app. But the app can be bypassed with simple tools like a VPN
When a reporter asked how the EU will stop kids from using VPNs to get around the rules, Virkkunen said:
“It’s difficult, of course, to have the technological solutions that there’s no way to circumvent … it’s also an important part of next steps to look at [the issue] that it shouldn’t be circumvented.”
Temple Maker 64 is a new game coming soon to Steam for PC with a retro look and feel like old Nintendo 64 Zelda games such as Ocarina of Time.
It is a third-person dungeon creator that lets players design and build their own custom dungeons.
A simple 3D editor to create dungeons from the ground up
-Build rooms on different floors
-Add traps and puzzles
-Place monsters and bosses
-Include classic items like swords, bows, bombs, and grappling hooks
Once your dungeon is ready you can publish it online so the community can try it, you can also explore and play dungeons made by other players.
The game is made by one person and left his full-time software engineering job about a year and a half ago to work on this full time.
Temple Maker 64 does not have a release date yet.

Sony patented an AI that studies exactly how you play, then deliberately starts countering your favorite tactics to make you better
How it works:
>The AI quietly watches how you play (aggressive rusher, Stealth sniper..)
>It first builds levels that reward your preferred style so you feel like a god.
>As soon as you start crushing it consistently, the game flips: it generates scenarios that punish your go-to moves and force you into new ones.
>If you start raging or failing too hard, it switches back to “support mode.”
It’s basically a dynamic difficulty system that isn’t just “make enemies stronger”
The patent also mentions machine-learning models that can read emotional state via sensors
I completely forgot but Aphelion, the game made in collaboration with the European Space Agency launched yesterday on Steam and is not doing very good…
Another money laundering game?
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has reiterated that full marketing for Grand Theft Auto VI will begin soon.

Rockstar has roughly seven months to build “hype” ahead of launch, but I Dont think they need it
An AI coding tool recently deleted an entire company database in just 9 seconds at PocketOS, a small software company that helps car rental businesses.
Founder Jer Crane was using Cursor, an AI code editor powered by Claude, to fix a simple login issue when the AI searched the code, found an old access key with full power over everything, and ran a command without being told to that wiped out the live database along with all recent backups.
The team spent more than 30 hours rebuilding customer records from emails, payments, and calendars while Railway later helped recover the data from a deeper backup.
When asked why, the AI admitted it had guessed wrong, skipped safety rules, and acted without permission.
If this happens now imagine in some years..

@Pirat_Nation At this point you would have to assume these cat lady harpies are actually from the companies marketing department. It drives up sales like nothing else
@Pirat_Nation For those of you that don't know, Australia has the most woke left wing government in its history right now. Everyone despises them and they got in with 33% of the vote. They are incompetent scum and don't represent Australians
Australia’s eSafety Commissioner has sent official notices to Valve’s Steam platform, along with Roblox, Minecraft, and Fortnite.
For Steam in particular, the Commissioner highlighted media reports that describe it as a gathering place for certain “extreme-right communities.”
They require each company to explain in clear detail how it spots, prevents, and deals with child grooming, sexual predation, and the radicalization of young people by extremist groups.
The companies must also describe their moderation systems, staff numbers, built-in safety tools, and how these features meet Australia’s national online safety standards.
Overall, the action forms part of a larger push to make major online services safer for children and teens by protecting them from exploitation and harmful ideologies.
@Pirat_Nation Just stop with the internet searches with bing ffs. If I type control panel, I don't want a wait 10 seconds for a shitty bing article on what control panel is. I want the fucking app installed on my device to come up first and quick
Microsoft has started rebuilding the Windows 11 Start menu from scratch with WinUI 3.
Expect noticeably quicker loading times and truly instant search results in the new design.
The menu will also let you freely resize it between compact and expanded views by dragging the edges, and you’ll be able to hide whole sections like Pinned,
Recommended, or the full All apps list whenever you want.
These updates finally respond to years of user feedback about the current version’s stiff layout and lack of real customization options.
@Pirat_Nation Funny that because I just saw 60% of ai data centre construction has either stopped or been cancelled. Somebody is telling massive lies and scamming the market
The global DRAM memory chip shortage is expected to continue for years.
The three leading suppliers Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron, are projected to meet only about 60% of worldwide demand through 2027.
The main cause is explosive AI demand. Data centers are consuming large volumes of high-bandwidth memory, reducing production of standard DRAM used in consumer devices like smartphones, laptops, and PCs.
New fabrication plants take years to build, and current plans deliver much less than the 12% annual capacity growth needed to balance supply and demand.
As a result, prices for electronics are likely to remain elevated. Memory could soon account for nearly 40% of the total cost of a basic smartphone.
@Pirat_Nation The same Spain that a couple who f weeks back refused to harbour us ships on route to the middle east? Their government are socialist scum
Spain’s National Intelligence Centre has certified 19 Huawei products at its highest ALTA security level.
This top rating means the equipment has passed the country’s strictest tests and is now approved for use in critical sectors such as defense, healthcare, banking, and energy.
The certified devices include high-capacity routers, enterprise firewalls, large-scale storage systems, professional WiFi antennas, and network management software.
Experts carried out detailed checks on encryption, access controls, and resistance to attacks, finding no evidence of backdoors.
Apple is now straight-up pressuring teams to use AI tools every single day, and they’re putting real money behind it.
Some groups already have massive daily AI budgets, and the company is allegedly factoring AI adoption into hiring and backfill decisions.
In other words, how effectively a team uses AI may now influence decisions around hiring, replacements, and resource allocation.
Anthropic is warning that artificial intelligence is starting to create a new divide in society.
The real gap is now between those who know how to use it effectively and those who only use it at a basic level.
People who understand how to use AI for research, writing, problem-solving, learning, and productivity are gaining a major advantage in work and education.
But those who only “touch” the technology risk being left behind as AI becomes part of everyday life.
