@serenade_sun At least Nickelodeon had Spongebob and Danny Phantom when I was a kid, then I could switch the channel over once Ned's Declassified came on.
With Disney it was like almost overnight they dumped the cartoons and went all-in on terrible sitcoms.

A boat in New Super Mario Bros. Wii is called NICE_BOAT internally. While the developers may have simply thought it was a particularly nice boat, there is reason to assume this is related to the "Nice Boat" broadcast incident where an anime episode was cancelled due to a murder.
