Thinking on this further a little- the DVD sets of Simpsons and Futurama all had commentary on *every single episode* and I don’t think it can be emphasized in the era of streaming just how rare and cool that was. Any other tv show, you would be lucky to get commentary on one ep

@thamosdeaf I think it’s because the people who tend to be serious fans of the Simpsons or futurama are also deeply aware of the production background and their favorite episode writers- groening himself is only credited with 4 simpsons eps for instance, and they aren’t the top tier eps.

Main problem with the Ouya is that they wanted a big open platform and also planned the "sell at a loss and make up for it with software sales"'method and realized too late the obvious flaws in that plan

the ouya is a fascinating device because when you look at it, it’s no different than what the ayn thor and android handhelds are today, the only difference is this was made in a time where the hardware was severely lacking for a device like this to be viable in the market
