Day 183 0/1 for -$249 NQ was extremely bouncy early in the session. Big intra-candle swings made it tough to find a clean entry that fit my strategy while keeping risk at 10 points or less. I got impatient, chased one, and submitted my order as price was moving away from my stop. Ended up risking 12.25 points instead of my max 10. Price then hit my stop just 9 seconds later. The lesson is simple. No chasing, especially on high intra-candle volatility days. Execution error was 100% on me, but that's an easy fix. Glad I still kept the red day small and under control. Back at it next week. 🫡
