The other day, one of my videographers accidentally exported a 25 fps video at 24 fps, so I ended up speaking at 24/25 times normal speed. I watch previews of my own videos at double speed so I didn't notice. My videographer didn't notice either, which might sounds odd, but he has to listen to the whole thing back and forth for hours and hours and after that it's hard to tell what's normal and what not. (Same issue with the colour balance.) If it hadn't been for a third person on my team triple-checking the video, we might have published the video with me speaking too slowly which I am sure the vast majority of our viewers would immediately have noticed. I find it curious, from a purely academic point of view, how every efficiency improvement in a workflow (me watching videos at twice the speed) brings in the possibility for errors that no one thought of.
