I remember reading that book and coming away with a super weird feeling....like wtf kinda weird ass propaganda did I just read...it was like...."reader, admire his sense of adventure and longing for freedom, ignore your "I wasn't raised like a spoiled retarded shit" and so therefore I have a sense of reality and would take the time to educate myself about living off the land before attempting to live off the land"

@Yankeesfan824 What I liked about Girardi is that I don't ever recall any of his teams (whether talented or not) falling into annual death spirals. Maybe I'm glamorizing the past but I don't ever remember any of his teams constantly setting all time futility records

How many times did we see Joe Girardi maximize a roster full of bums? Those post 2009 years were littered with absolute nobodies and I can’t remember those teams mailing it in every summer

@Tb25baseball I care more about on base percentage woba and OPS than I ever cared about batting average which is an incomplete stat at the minimum

Yeah man, I'm done with this team for now. This is the man they employ to drive the bus and he's astonishingly unserious and tone deaf. You cannot say this, garbage performance after garbage performance.
