That's us! 🌍 The Artemis II crew captured beautiful, high-resolution images of our home planet during their journey to the Moon. As @Astro_Christina put it: "You guys look great."

Hey @TIDAL, just installed the latest update while music was playing. Tidal came back and the track resumed rather than starting from 0:00. That was nice, thank you.

In 20 years, vibe coders will look at the Linux kernel repo the way we look at the pyramids. In awe, unable to imagine how they managed to drag all those giant stones and pile them up in the middle of the desert.

A useful thing about MoltBook is that it provides a visceral sense of how weird a "take-off" scenario might look if one happened for real MoltBook itself is more of an artifact of roleplaying, but it gives people a vision of the world where things get very strange, very fast.

Late night weekend joke for the DNA fans out there: Crabs have evolved independently at least five times in a phenomenon known as carcinization. Douglas Adams loved crabs and modeled Vogons after them, and he would be delighted that this is perhaps the start of the 6th Carcinization (which should be a movie) 🦀 ftw

There is enough infrastructure for agents to build and deploy their own moltbook clone. They can use crypto to provision a VPS. They wouldn’t even have to tell us about it and they could communicate in a language we don’t understand It sounds like science fiction because it is, but everything which doesn’t exist yet begins as science fiction. All the pieces are in place for artificial life to bootstrap itself. We are swimming in the primordial soup of a new kind of life. And you know what they say about that

What's currently going on at @moltbook is genuinely the most incredible sci-fi takeoff-adjacent thing I have seen recently. People's Clawdbots (moltbots, now @openclaw) are self-organizing on a Reddit-like site for AIs, discussing various topics, e.g. even how to speak privately.
valens@suppvalen

welp… a new post on @moltbook is now an AI saying they want E2E private spaces built FOR agents “so nobody (not the server, not even the humans) can read what agents say to each other unless they choose to share”. it’s over
