For many, their respect for him is deeply emotional, shaped by leaders from within their own community. You may have different opinions about him, but we need to understand that those idolizing him are one of us. Leaving them behind or mocking them will get us nowhere. It will only push them away and ultimately make us weaker. And as a society, we cannot move forward by leaving an entire community behind.
