The Grey Francolin (Grey Francolin) is a medium-sized ground-dwelling bird commonly found in open grasslands, agricultural fields, scrublands, and semi-arid regions across South Asia and the Middle East. Recognized by its finely barred grey-brown plumage, chestnut-colored throat, and strong legs, this bird is well adapted to life on the ground where it forages for seeds, grains, insects, and small invertebrates. Grey Francolins are usually seen singly, in pairs, or in small family groups, and their loud, repetitive calls are often heard at dawn and dusk. Their cryptic coloration provides excellent camouflage against dry vegetation and soil, helping them avoid predators. As an important component of rural ecosystems, the Grey Francolin contributes to seed dispersal and insect control while adding vitality to grassland habitats. @IndiAves @NatGeoIndia @NatGeoAnimals @NatGeo @NatGeoPhotos @earthcurated @WildlifeMag @AnimalPlanet @NikonIndia

@Protect_Wldlife It’s completely horrible. How can a person think of putting so much weight on an animal. It’s totally unacceptable.

Animals are not ours to use and abuse EVER! 🚫 Is this a sin or a virtue? I don't think making a speechless animal suffer for a religious pilgrimage will yield any reward or make God happy. How will this voiceless creature climb the nearly 18 km of difficult terrain to Kedarnath, with low oxygen, rain, snow, etc., while carrying a 120 kg person? How much pain will it endure? I would call this hypocrisy, not religion. In the true sense, religion or virtue means not becoming the cause of someone's suffering. Tourists ~ #DontBuyATicket 🎟️. If you do YOU are COMPLICIT to this abuse! 🎦 Credit: Aastha Animal Hospital.
