Agreed that is Brown’s main drawback. But volume doesn’t matter as much when you’re almost 8 yards per carry over the last two years. Plus, we were saying similar things about Jeremiyah Love last year. “Not enough volume” “watch out for Price”, sometimes Talent and explosivity is enough! :)

This is basically an auto-draft duo for me if I’m starting on the back end of drafts this year.

@sjjackso2 I mean, Cook didn’t transfer with his coach. Also, the OKst boys I do give a discount towards as well. But I agree with your logic for the most part, I don’t think Cook or Haynes are bad picks. You just asked me to give you the logic for Brown over both so thats what I did.

@CFF_Jared Don’t sleep on K Brown at Louisville either. They both got carries in the bowl game. Louisville system hasn’t fed one guy like I hope WV and GT do this fall. When was the last 200 carry back at Louisville?

Known vs unknown. The unknown with Brown is health, which is the case with anyone. We know when he’s healthy he has some of the highest upside of any players being drafted. Meanwhile, Cook and Haynes live more in unknowns. Haynes especially because the system is a complete mystery. Cook we have a good idea will he the lead back, but is that 170 carries or 270? Wide range for him.

@StevenFantasyF Top 6 is Smith, Toney, Messer, Hawkins, Lacy, Hardy. You can make an argument for any order of those guys and I’d acknowledge it.

@jasonwhitlock That’s a really good point. I still haven’t met anyone who can remember Indiana’s QB when they won the Natty. I think he won some stiff arm trophy, too. If only he was at the school for a few more months we’d all probably remember.

That national championship game was a difficult watch last night. Hats off to Dusty May and Michigan, but that is a team full of players with no bond with the university that no one will remember.
