The war benefited Iran in at least one aspect: The overt attention given to Iran for the last 50 days has completely shattered the fabricated image that Israeli-affiliated media had crafted of the country for decades. Many people have now realized that: 1- Iran is not run by mad apocalyptic “mullahs". Many Iranian officials are sophisticated technocrats, steeped in political science, literature, mathematics, international relations, and philosophy. They hold PhDs and strong academic credentials from renowned universities, and have actually authored books on Immanuel Kant, negotiations and governance. In fact, they are much more sophisticated than their Western counterparts. For one, none of them ever appeared on the Epstein list. That is precisely why they do not have to bend or bow before Israel or its network of lobbies. 2- The Iranian people are proud and patriotic. They are willing to risk their lives by forming human chains around bridges and critical infrastructure to protect their homeland. They have never welcomed, and will never welcome, foreign intervention. Neighboring countries were mistaken in assuming they would need to close their borders to manage an influx of refugees fleeing war from Iran. Not only did Iranians refuse to flee the war zone, but many living abroad actually returned home by land once the conflict began. 3- Iran is a resilient nation that has endured decades of illegal sanctions, sadistic “maximum pressure” campaigns, covert operations, and outright war. It stood tall, relied solely on itself, and built a formidable military, industrial, and scientific base. By contrast, countries with far stronger economies are already complaining about the economic fallout from the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and are growing impatient. Iran withstood their sanctions for nearly fifty years, yet they cannot tolerate fifty days of reciprocal economic pressure. Hopefully this reality will force them to recognize the depravity of their past policies. 4- Iran is not a state sponsor of terrorism. Its only “sin” has been to be the sole country on Earth that has firmly, openly, and proudly stood up to Israeli apartheid and genocidal policies. That is the real source of all the demonization. 5- Iran did not squander money—or the brief proceeds from temporary sanctions relief—on destabilizing the region. It invested in infrastructure instead. The sheer number of hospitals, airports, petrochemical plants, railroads, bridges, ports, pharmaceutical factories, and universities targeted in the war reveals exactly where that money was spent. 6- Iran did not seek war. It pursued serious diplomacy, only to be betrayed on multiple occasions. The United States withdrew from the JCPOA and then attacked Iran twice while new negotiations were underway. All the smears claiming that Iran fails to honor its international commitments or is prone to lying and cheating are pure nonsense unsupported by empirical evidence. 7- Iran’s foreign policy is guided by values, principles, and national pride rather than materialist “cost-benefit” calculations. Understanding this is essential to reaching any genuine deal. Otherwise, within a narrow “cost-benefit” paradigm, Israeli experts and think tanks will continue to rush to portray Iran’s intentions as hostile—just as they have done for decades by relentlessly disseminating the falsehood that Iran is seeking to build nuclear weapons.

Prominent British politician George Galloway exposes the true nature of NGOs in developing nations. He confirms Fidel Castro accurately labeled them as Trojan horses designed to suppress independent governments in Africa and protect foreign exploiters like France and Britain.

SOCIALISM WITH NIGERIAN CHARACTERISTICS I imagine a Nigeria's economy socialized n every state is optimized to handle a specific sector of the economy Lagos- Finance n import (New York/Hong Kong of Nig) Zamfara- Lithium-Renewable energy production (Batteries n solar panels) (shanzou of Nig) Ogun/Abia/Onitsha- Textile (manufacturing hub) Niger-Delta- Oil n Energy hub (Texas of Nig) Benue/Taraba/Plateu- Heavily mechanised Agriculture, food processing n beverages production) Kogi (Ajeokuta)- Nigeria's Steel supply More seaports in Calabar, Rivers n Delta, to handle the trade surplus that comes with industrialisation Kano/Kaduna- weapons manufacturing, defence tech, training n all River Benue deserves an hydroelectric power plant just as Niger's Kainji dam. It will also carry irrigation to grow excess food in the region. A Nigeria interconnected by Rail system cos goods move everyday I'm not worried about religion cos, there's govt oversight. Just thinking out loud...

"Socialism with Nigerian characteristics" is a phrase I hope to see a lot more of. I'd love to discuss what it could mean and what it would look like in practise.

@deiveed00 @DavidHundeyin A bit of capitalism where applicable, that incentives innovation and allows competition but without the exploitation, and a bit of socialism that caters for our most vulnerable but without misallocation and abuse......

@DavidHundeyin We can work towards developing our own socio-economic systems based on our culture and history. This I will term—Communalism. This should give us more growth and development than what we currently practice as we are not individualistic in nature but community oriented.

Izrael to wszystko robi, a świat patrzy - patrzy i milczy. Pamiętajcie, prawda to nie antysemityzm. A jeśli prawda to dziś antysemityzm, to trudno - niech będę antysemitą. Wolę być antysemitą, ale spać spokojnie w poczuciu, że nie byłem głuchy na to, co się dzieje i na to, kto jest tu ofiarą, a kto katem...

At this rate I won't be surprised to see an African Kristallnacht happen in Durban or Cape Town. ... And it will be their greatest undoing. Because when the Oyibo-controlled media has finished giving them enough rope to fit around their own necks, the same Oyibo will come and kick the stool from under them. They will demonize South Africa. If 5 Zimbabweans get their Jaws broken in a random brawl in Soweto, CNN and Fox News will say they burned 50 of their fellow Africans alive. They will isolate them from the rest of the continent. So when a US aircraft carrier sails on the cape of good hope to "stop the violence" or "prevent white genocide", South Africa will have no friends north of Limpopo. It's almost destiny at this point. The colonizers have and will NEVER forgive their ooga booga neighbors for forcing them to give up many privileges (even though they still call most of the shots behind the scenes) But then again, it's not too surprising because these kom kom heads are EXACTLY what you get when your "revolutionary" leader is a Mandela and not a Mao or even a Sankara. He didn't redistribute land like Mao did. He didn't send enough of the colonizers and uncle Toms to the gallows. He didn't even properly nationalize key industries at gunpoint. All the poor, melanated shanty-town residents got were kabuki theaters like the Truth and Reconciliation Commission... A useless farce that achieved fuck all except entertainment on TV when people got to scream and cry and yell at each other. The land remained in the hands of the colonizers. The Oppenheimers still run the show. The Stellenbosch networks are alive and kicking. ... And the South African state STILL does not have full control of the means of production. But.... like their obstinate cousins from West Africa, most of these Mamelodi Sundown niggas don't care for nuance or thinking in systems. As long as they get to harass their marginally less impoverished Nigerian or Zimbabwean neighbor, they are fulfilled. Olodos.

Iran’s ‘totally obliterated’ Navy has released a video of its seizure yesterday of the MSC Epaminondas. The seized vessel is owned by a Greek company, Technomar Shipping, whose founder and Managing Director is George Youroukos. The vessel was seized as it tried to pass through the Strait of Hormuz without the permission of Iranian forces. After Iran announced that it had seized the vessel, Greece’s government denied that the vessel had been seized. Iran then released this video, and the ship’s owner admitted that the vessel had been boarded by Iranian forces and was heading to Iran. A recent report by No Harbour For Genocide revealed that Greek shipping companies covertly supplied energy and military materiel to the criminal Israeli entity during its ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people. In addition, the pro-genocide Greek government of @kmitsotakis has curried favour with the war criminal Donald Trump by enabling the illegal U.S.-Israel war on Iran. #Iran #IranWar #Greece

Sentiments against this US spy company called Palantir are growing in the UK, but Nigeria and Ghana are saying come on in 👐. By the time the results start pouring in, the people who are supporting this today will turn around and ask us “Why are you blaming America, why not hold yourselves accountable?” Now is the time to hold the companies and entities welcoming this partnership to account, but you won't, you will rather support them and celebrate them as “putting your country on the map.”

Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil was found dead after hours of searching under rubble. She was killed in an Israeli strike, after the Israeli army fired at ambulances trying to reach her, delaying her rescue. She is the fourth journalist killed by Israel while in the field since 2 March. She was a professional, kind and dedicated journalist, and always a pleasure to run into in the field.

Pay attention to this 👇 While Nigerians were pushing INEC and Akpabio to implement the use electronic transmission of election results, they quietly added a new clause to the law without notice. People just discovered it. This new clause means that politicians, like state governors, can print their own ballot papers, write their own results, and the presiding officer MUST accept them as valid. INEC can then use those results to announce the winner. This is why they insisted Form EC8A must be used over E-transmission! The big question is: Who knows how many other laws Akpabio and Tinubu have secretly amended in the constitution to favour themselves,, without Nigerians knowing? This should worry every Nigerian.
