🔴🇧🇫 "We have identified nearly 800 young Burkinabe students in Saudi Arabia. The surprise is that everyone of them is learning Sharia and Islamic laws. None of them learn a trade. My question is: they want to learn this Sharia law to come and apply it in which country?" - Captain Ibrahim Traoré

Soon there will be no American base in the Middle East.

No Sharia Law In Burkina Faso- Traore “I am a Muslim, but everyone in Burkina Faso has the right to practice their own religion. There will never be Sharia law in this country. “To those Burkinabè studying Sharia law in Saudi Arabia, do not return to Burkina Faso. Instead of acquiring technological knowledge and skills that can help develop our country, you chose to study Sharia law. Stay where you are, you won't be allowed back here- President Traore

It would be even more dangerous to allow some people to misdirect the effort. This is a race war BEFORE it is a class war. The class war is downstream of the race war. Picture a waterfall at the top of a hill. This waterfall feeds a lake at the foot of the hill. If you try to dredge the lake alone to build your house on the riverbed WITHOUT cutting off the supply from above, doesn't that make you retarded? Heed my words: If you round up every corrupt capitalist, rent-seeker or warlord in Nigeria and fit them with hemp necklaces without ALSO dismantling the cultural, socio-economic and physical levers of the colonizers, you will have bled for nothing. At best you will get a Nigerian ANC. Which means fuck all: South Africa has the highest wealth inequality in the world with 10% of the population owning 86% of the wealth. So tell me: has the bloodydamn class war crusade not failed still? So no. This is a race war. A war of identity. A war of the soul. Beyond our respect for Marx, you and I have little in common with Moroccan or Italian socialists. The Italian socialist will never side with me or you over Italian billionaires keeping him in artificial poverty. Hell, the Italian communist would WORSE OFF if they sided with you. Because a good chunk of their standard of living depends on the complex, systemic subjugation of our people. Never forget who you are or the world will remind you in a brutal, unforgiving way. To me, the people who push communism before Nigerian nationalism or Pan-Africanism are either misguided or they are moles.

@barrahart Why are we anti-imperialists allowing division get through us?

I actually enjoy Africa being underestimated. Less attention, less interference. History shows what happens when the world suddenly decides your region matters.

🛑🇧🇫- Captain Ibrahim Traore was addressing the religious extremists who believe that their faith comes first before the homeland. He said that those who hold that view can leave Burkina Faso 🇧🇫 and go wherever they want, not here. Moreover, when they decided to ban the import of rice because we are now producing enough for local consumption, those who were importing rice were not happy. They even came to them and said that the State will fail. Again, we are our worst enemies. Smh!

🛑🇧🇫- Captain Ibrahim Traore on why the government wants to control the flow of international students. He said they are currently counting the number of Burkinabè students who are studying overseas. Out of 1000 students in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦, over 800 of them left the country without the government knowing. Our embassy over there has no record of them. And guess what those 800 people are studying? Charia law and Islamic laws and none of them is learning a trade. So, he asked: where are they intending to apply those laws? In Burkina Faso 🇧🇫? Not here. Captain said he is going to bring them back home, and if they refuse, then they are no longer Burkinabè. Will your country ever address this? Radical islam is a cancer that needs to be addressed. If we pretend as if it’s not a threat to Africa, we are just fooling ourselves. Terrorism started with them. Remember, the imperialists are always using religion and ethnicism to divide Africans.

Reading the mass Arab crash out in the comments of the tweet I'm quoting makes me feel a bit privileged to be African. I thought we were the people with the world's worst identity crisis, but it seems that title belongs to Gulf Arabs. They are typing every alphabet of anti-black racism they can muster from their souls because an African leader rightly called out some of his people for going to study Wahhabi ideology in Saudi Arabia that has been linked to terror pipelines. Knowing fully well that a) Said Wahhabi nonsense was literally created by the CIA after Nixon's petrodollar deal with Saudi Arabia, which created American-backed foreign destabilisation organisations like the Muslim Youth World League - thus Wahhabism does not even represent most Saudis, let alone Arab Muslims, and b) Ibrahim Traoré himself is a Muslim, and he is not speaking badly of Islam, but of a specific type of weaponised, CIA-backed pseudo-Islam that has caused misery to millions of Muslims around the world. These absolute dumbasses think that something Richard Nixon's CIA created is their religious identity! I'm never going to complain about Africans again. At least my grouse with our people is that we have an identity crisis due to not remembering who we were 400 or 500 years ago - not the kind of identity crisis where we think that a pseudo religion created by American empire builders after the colour TV was invented is our whole identity. What a bunch of complete donuts. Now I completely understand why the Gulf is the way it is. A hundred and something million of the world's wealthiest olodos🤡
