She was confidently saying rubbish. First of all, governments will always shape and control economies in one form or another. This fantasy about completely “free” markets was largely ideological propaganda pushed to advance a particular agenda. Thatcher was celebrated as a champion of economic freedom, but in reality her policies served the interests of capital far more than ordinary workers or long-term national development. Her privatization drive accelerated deindustrialization in the UK. Handing strategic sectors over to private interests without serious national safeguards is not automatically better than state management. Bureaucracies can be inefficient, but capitalists are driven primarily by profit margins and shareholder returns, not national resilience. Once labour becomes cheaper elsewhere, production is relocated, factories disappear, industrial towns collapse, and mass job losses follow. A country that abandons productive capacity for short-term financial efficiency eventually hollows out its own economic base. The UK still struggles with many of the structural consequences of Thatcherism today. Entire industrial regions were weakened, manufacturing declined sharply, and the economy became excessively dependent on finance and services. But services alone cannot sustain a deeply resilient economy, especially one trying to maintain strategic independence, strong wages, and social stability. Countries that dominate globally usually retain serious industrial and manufacturing power alongside services. Once that productive base erodes, governments increasingly rely on taxation and debt to sustain the system, and ordinary people end up carrying the burden through stagnant wages, austerity, and rising living costs. That is the contradiction in the so-called “freedom” she was defending. What kind of economic freedom exists under a punishing tax regime, declining industrial capacity, insecure work, and an economy increasingly concentrated in the hands of financial elites? If private ownership simply results in the transfer of national wealth and strategic assets to a small class of profit-seekers, then presenting it as liberation for ordinary people is just rubbish.
Margaret Thatcher@realmrsthatcher

Private property is vital to freedom. The more industries you have in the hands of government, the more the bureaucrats run things...Bureaucrats on the whole are not good at business, they're not good at industry. They shouldn't have the running of it. The more powers you put into the hands of government, the less the powers of the people. The more in the hands of the bureaucrats, the less in the hands of the electors. So of course we reduced that. It not only puts the industries back to people who know how to run them but it extends share ownership. We've extended capital ownership far wider than ever before. Capital ownership should be something that every single person feels that as they begin to prosper, they can put money aside and build up capital; build their own security. It makes them much more powerful against a government.

"Here’s what’s going on. The West is finished financially when the US goes down. US empire is falling. China is taking over". This is largely false. Europe and America may very well be in a state of unprecedented decline, but you cannot link this decline to the Empire itself. If eventually the US empire collapses, the good citizens will be heavily affected because they are chained to a sinking ship and will go down with it. But this is completely false for the billionaire class controlling the mega-corporations that make up the trans-Atlantic empire headquartered in Washington DC. The citizens may living under this empire may very well be experiencing unprecedented inflation, loss of jobs and homelessness, but these mega cooperations that makes up this empire are actually recording historical profits. If anything the empire is even consolidating powers and becoming stronger and stronger. Understand that these corporations are only in America to do business. They use the United States as a blunt weapon. America invades foreign nations on their behalf to secure supply chains for their endless greed, opens up vulnerable countries at gunpoint to ensure huge consumer markets for their luxury goods, and secures their global shipping routes with the US Navy. But if that host nation becomes exhausted, politically unstable, and financially bankrupt, the corporate parasite does not die. It simply detaches and finds a new host. Look at Coca-Cola as a case study. It is an American company, but when World War II broke out, their German subsidiary simply changed the name of their business to Fanta, changed the ingredients, and moved on from America to serve the Nazi regime. As soon as Germany collapsed, they quickly dropped the German flag and proudly carried the American flag again. So in essence, even if the American empire collapses today, a Chinese global takeover would not be viewed by the boards of Western mega-corporations as an apocalypse. It would be viewed as a corporate restructuring event, a mere change in management at the global level. The flags outside the factories will change, but the profit margins will remain exactly the same. The American citizens will be devastated because their bank accounts are tied to the collapsing US dollar. Their family members, relatives, and friends are all trapped in America, and their houses are bolted to American soil. Their entire life savings will evaporate into worthless paper, their localized jobs will be wiped out by hyperinflation, and their supply chains for basic food and medicine will freeze. They will be left to slaughter each other in the streets with absolutely nowhere to run. For the ultra-rich billionaires, it is an entirely different reality. These people live on highly fortified islands and private compounds built to survive the absolute collapse of human civilization, total grid failures, and violent societal uprisings. Even if the empire comes under siege from rival nations, these elites will remain perfectly safe. The security details guarding their estates are a terrifying miracle and one of the dark wonders of the modern world. We are talking about private armies of ex-special forces mercenaries, autonomous AI drone swarms, military-grade anti-aircraft missile defense systems, impenetrable biometric lockdowns, and facial recognition kill zones that will effortlessly liquidate any desperate citizen attempting to breach their walls. No civil war in America will ever disrupt their enjoyment and peace. They are building infrastructure to transcend the earth itself. Even if a nuclear apocalypse were to happen in America today, their escape vessels and self-sustaining habitats will simply detach from the ground and rise into the sky. America may very well burn to the ground, but these elites will be held stationary in orbit, merely enjoying the scene of mass destruction on their massive projector screens. They have enough purified water and nutrient reserves to outlast World War 3, 4, and 5. They have enough lab-grown meats and hydroponic crops in their fortified bunkers to outlast a Biblical famine. And if the chaos of the world becomes truly unsustainable, if planet Earth finally burns to ashes today, they will simply ignite their thrusters, float away into the blackness of space, and buy themselves another planet.
Kim Dotcom@KimDotcom

Here’s what’s going on. The West is finished financially when the US goes down. US empire is falling. China is taking over. Russia is the wingman. It’s inevitable. The US is bankrupt, the markets fake and the news is propaganda. No theft, lies, or deceit are going to change that.

China went from begging Britain to not flood their country with opium... To becoming the world's leading superpower. But it took 187 years. I have NO DOUBT in my mind Nigeria will be great one day. You cannot keep people down indefinitely. But as you said it may not be in our lifetime. Then again maybe it will. Maybe it will.

One day, a generation of young Nigerian girls will emerge who will know their place in the world and be willing to defend it. But that day is not today. Maybe not for my entire lifetime.

Same reason why Michelle Obama and Diddy oni ororo were carrying BringBackOurGirls placards. I'll spell it out further: Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was the victim of a well organized regime change operation by the US state department. They, alongside their local puppets like the Agbado man, the Orange beret man and your favorite mathematician turned daddy GO.... successfully deceived Nigerians (who collectively have the geopolitical literacy of an agama lizard) into voting out the man whose administration was overseeing one of the fastest growing economies in the world. In his place they put in a retired soldier with the economic savviness of a sugarcane seller. The result was an economic recession within 18 months and the beginning of our misery as a people. Do you understand? The Chibok abduction The bomb blasts The OccupyNigeria protests NONE OF THAT SHIT WAS ORGANIC. NONE. It was well funded by more dollars that is in your state budget. Promoted by media that serves foreign interests. Legitimized by clerics and pastors whose loyalties are directly or indirectly tied to Washington DC and it's Middle Eastern puppet Saudi Arabia. So the reason Nigerians haven't marched on Eagle square to express our rage is because this time, there is no US state department slush fund to organize the masses. In fact, billions of dollars are pumped into Nigeria to ENSURE that it doesn't happen. Doubly so after EndSars which took them by surprise. Since independence the The United States of America and it's allies in Europe have been pouring unfathomable amounts of money and resources into making sure we never have peace. Because a united, rich Nigeria will thoroughly dismantle their operations in Africa. Understand where your problems are coming from. Know who your real enemies are. ... Or you will be fighting smoke. Whenever you wake up is your morning.

Former Nigerian Governor: Africans Are Still Being Sold Into Slavery The period of direct European colonial presence in Africa is known by African historians as the Maafa – a Kiswahili word which means “Great Disaster”. It is so called because of the terror and destruction that defined this period. Africa’s indigenous development was interrupted, its monuments vandalized, its treasures looted, its knowledge systems suppressed and its history distorted by parasites who had no interest in “civilizing” anyone. Today, many Africans live under the dangerous illusion that this nearly 500-year reign of terror ended sometime in the 1960s. In this iconic address, made during the proceedings of the 1994/1995 National Constitutional Conference in Nigeria, former Deputy Governor of Cross River State, Nigeria, Mathias Offoboche (1936 – 2015) lays bare the truth that far too many Africans either do not know, or refuse to accept. This truth is that the exploitation and subjugation of Africa and its people by the West never ended, even for a moment. It simply evolved. Nigeria’s contemporary political space is in sore lack of such bold voices.

Bernie Sanders: Western Politics Is Built On Colonialism In this interactive session from 2003 with students at the James Madison High School in Brooklyn, New York, US politician and activist Bernie Sanders gives an honest analysis of the politics of his own country and the West at large, highlighting how these politics have always been based on the terrorization and exploitation of the wealthier and more humanistic civilizations of the Global South. The US government’s kidnapping of Venezuela’s popular and democratically-elected President Nicolas Maduro on January 3, 2026, and its continued reign of t£rror over the Latin American country is one of the more recent displays of this centuries-old culture of parasitism. If the members of the US’s own political establishment are frank enough to call out the US for the t£rror state it is, one can only guess why so many Africans are cheering for this country – especially given their continent’s own history with it.

Elon Musk just shared a post on how China built the world’s biggest train station on top of a mountain. Understand that Musk is indirectly sending a brutal message to Western regulators and competitors on how industrial scale manufacturing should be done. This is especially true because when Elon Musk wanted to build his Gigafactory in Berlin, they tried to kill him with bureaucratic hurdles. At first, it was almost impossible for him to obtain a full fledged permit for the project. He had to compromise and settle to build the project in parts and obtain the permits in separate stages. This was significantly more financially challenging and came with the insane promise that he would dismantle the entire factory if the final permit failed. Even with all these concessions, the project was still an absolute nightmare. Environmental activists and local bureaucrats used every legal loophole available to strangle the project. They weaponized the protection of "local lizard" and "snake" species to halt construction for months. They claimed the factory would drain the region of water, despite Tesla using significantly less water than traditional industrial plants. The scale of bureaucracy was so high that it took two years before he got full permits for the Gigafactory. The process was so rigorous that the final approval was contained in a 536-page document. The total documentation for the project ran over 22,000 pages, covering issues such as water usage, species protection, and chemical safety, all of which were subject to endless public objection periods and legal challenges. And even with all of this, he was still under constant attack by lawsuits from armies of NGOs in Germany. An arson attack by environmental radicals on the electrical infrastructure completely shut down the factory for a week. This level of bureaucratic stupidity and insanity is impossible in China, and that is why Elon Musk speaks highly of the Chinese government in terms of engineering. His Gigafactory in Shanghai was approved by the Chinese government with full permits and acceptance certification in under three days. From the signing of the land contract in October 2018 to the start of production in December 2019, the entire process, including permitting and construction, took less than one year. Also, because Tesla was initially operating under provisional permits and strict regulations from the paper loving German government, the entire project cost $5.5 billion dollars compared to the $2 billion dollars it took for his Gigafactory in Shanghai. And despite being cheaper, Giga Shanghai is widely recognized as Tesla’s most efficient and highest volume manufacturing facility. It has consistently accounted for nearly half of Tesla’s global vehicle deliveries. The automation process in this Gigafactory is unheard of. 95% of the welding and assembly are done by robots, and when demands are high, a new vehicle is usually ready in less than 50 seconds. And since over 95% of the car parts, high capacity battery cells, precision stamped chassis components, and advanced electronic drive units are available cheaply in China, it is impossible for any car company focused on EVs in Europe or America to compete with Tesla in both price and quality. Elon Musk himself speaks highly of the factory and rightly calls it a "Template for future growth."

Pro-sovereign media like The Spearhead can only do so much in raising the mental level of our people. The real magic bullet is the primary and secondary education syllabus. If I ever hold state power, there will be a once-in-a-century earthquake at the Ministry of Education. The new syllabus will not be an updated version of the current one. It will be a completely different one that nobody is familiar with. A syllabus designed to prepare children to understand their developing country and grow up to take control of its destiny, not one designed to prepare them to pass anstract exams so that they can be plucked and harvested by oyibo people. When I get my way, by the time a Nigerian kid writes their junior WAEC, they will know exactly who they are, where they come from, their place in the world, and where they are going. That's the only way to sweep out the decrepit millennial and Gen X generations who are already beyond redemption, and replace them with younger Gen Z's, Alphas and Betas who understand how the world works and know how to be useful to themselves within it.
