38 foreigners took the Mayor of Mtshezi to Pietermaritzburg high court and the court granted an interim order that the Inkosi Langalibalele Municipality must allow 38 Ethiopian shop owners in Estcourt, access to their shops to resume doing business. That resulted to looting.

@townxipclownza @DrSekonya South Africa has a nursing shortage. They should legally employ more foreign nurses, not have them working illegally as hairdressers.

“I switched Jobs because I didn’t have a work permit”. I’m starting to blame these people’s IQ and common sense. She is agreeing to the interviewer that she was illegal and doing anything illegal in the country. As for the other nonsense that everyone is saying bad about South Africa.i have been told by a mule that they were told what to say to the media. The idea is to paint a bad situation so that the government will not see this as another bad expenditure.

“South Africans have killed some Ghanaians, Nigerians, Zambians, and other African nationals in xenophobic attacks. I was a nurse in Ghana, but I switched to hairdressing in South Africa because I did not have a work permit. Sometimes, you have to carry bottles or knives to defend yourself because of the crime and ongoing xenophobic attacks.” — Esther, a Ghanaian woman who arrived in Ghana on a government-chartered repatriation flight, shares her ordeal in South Africa and why she decided to return home to restart her life

EmaXesibeni in Eastern Cape looking this empty tells you everything. Shutting down foreign-owned shops means nothing if South Africans are not stepping in to trade and keep our towns alive. This shows how much we’ve lost control of our own towns. We can’t celebrate empty streets. The goal should be to put our own people in control of the economy here. Until that happens, we are just stuck.
