@loftwah I encountered this quite often, bring an Ops guy in past. Let’s just say it helps to have dev peeps in your back pocket 😄

The worst part of working in DevOps when you come from an Ops background is that it is very hard to gauge the difficulty level of things on the Dev side. There has been times where I've had problems that I just wasn't skilled enough to solve. There have been some nice surprises where I've solved things that were way out of my depth and weren't really in my scope though so it isn't all bad.

I find it interesting the amount of pushback I got on my learning about creating a psychologically safe team environment. We're all humans with basic need for security. If that isn't being met at work, folks can't thrive. It's not babysitting. It's human decency.
