Another certification down on the road to becoming a "𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗞𝘂𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘂𝘁" ✅ I am happy to share that I have passed the 𝗞𝘆𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 (𝗞𝗖𝗔) Exam with 96/100 marks. I had scheduled the KCA exam for Friday last week, but I decided to visit my hometown to help with some farming work and postponed the exam to Monday. I even carried my laptop, thinking I would find time to prepare, but that didn't go as planned. Most of the time, I was on the farm for rice transplantation and ploughing, and enjoying time with my family. I returned late on Sunday night, exhausted after riding a bike for almost 6-7 hours from the Western Ghats, and a little sad to be leaving home again. I started prep again on Monday before office hours, but that was not enough. Given such a great tool with so many good features, I was not able to cover the whole syllabus. I even dropped an email to PSI to reschedule the exam, but it was not possible because it was within 24 hours, so they denied the request. I stayed up the entire night to revise the concepts, slept for about 1–2 hours, and then resumed studying early. As many of you know, I go to the gym early at 5 AM, so I had to cancel that (I will be going to the gym in the evening, though). I sat for the exam at 8:30 AM. By 8:50 AM, the exam started after the environment and setup checks. There were very interesting questions, but my prior hands-on experience helped me answer them all. This time, I used the full 1:30 hours re-reading the questions and options. I submitted the exam around 10:00 AM and immediately checked my email - my heart was racing, and I didn't know what to expect, but there it was. I saw the email: "𝗦𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿! 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘅 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻." Such a big relief! My take on the KCA? It is definitely not a straightforward exam. Questions can be very tricky because the options are often very similar. My advice: stay calm, read every option carefully, and don't hesitate to take a breather if you need one. On a positive note, I had no complaints with the PSI Browser this time. It was a very smooth experience, and the proctor was professional and helpful. Let's go.
