@Sheilaabearr @EFCevie I mean, I’m sure you’re healthy - but I’m also sure that you’re young (under 35, at least?). If you were consistently overweight/obese for years, those figures would eventually change, it takes a looong time for the health impacts to be seen in bloodwork.

@EFCevie It’s really funny how they say the “Venus Tummy” is unhealthy when I have one yet my blood pressure is 120/80 , Oxygen levels at 99% and my other vitals are amazing but yup having more fat than men and wide hips is super unhealthy 🤣

@dreenetwork There are some people who are okay with their friends saying slurs to them, doesn’t make it overall okay. The language is still being used when frankly it shouldn’t. There are other words to mean the same thing that don’t have the same historical context.

@dreenetwork I don’t mind if my female friends call me that, but if my male friends did I would be concerned. Why not use a different word?

@dreenetwork The difference is that you’re saying it between women, you’re reclaiming it. Men calling women whores, even in a joking context, is seen as problematic given the historical context of how it’s been used.

Pandering to women is casting Margot Robbie as the most attractive woman in a movie when we all know you could go to your local college campus and find a more attractive version of her. At 22 Margot Robbie did films aimed at men. At 32 she did films aimed at women.

@southoldny @libsoftiktok @PlanetFitness Oh wow! Never heard of that before. Perhaps it’s just in my city. I do think there are certainly better places for teens to work out haha! PF can be…strange - to say the least.

@snackeriee @libsoftiktok @PlanetFitness Not sure about Canadian gyms, but many gyms in the US have childcare memberships. And even when working out in the gym is for over 16 there can still be kids younger than that in the building, working out supervised, or using the bathroom. PF is 13 to work out.

I hope they consider changing their policy - a lot of young kids work out there. They are already on my last nerve for never keeping it clean enough. Disgusting
