@spongeanon102 @johnandrewwords Yes when assuming IQ is immutable, which it is provably not. It is plastic, varying over time in individual lives or across generations, corresponding to physiological, environmental and other constraints. The attempt to cluster ethnos with intellect or virtue is CN fan fiction.

Dr. Strange is right on this point.
But I could see how you’d think he’s embarrassingly and obviously wrong if you also forget any and all distinctions and context. And also decide to not think about it. And if you also just want to dunk on him.
Dr. Strange is almost certainly talking about intrinsic ontological value belonging to specific people groups, but if we only have the depth of thinking to suppose that he’s talking about conditional or ethical values of peoples, then sure. I get it. It is true that good people are good and bad people are bad. Great point. Good dunk, pal.

The Greeks were qualitatively superior in terms of politics, literature, philosophy, and culture more broadly than all ancient peoples. That is why we still read them and study their history.

Each person behaves as an individual, creating difference (this include culture), but that doesn’t erase sin or God’s image

@spongeanon102 @DDFStrand Classical Greeks weren’t genetically superior to other peoples in their period. They created a more developed culture that continues to influence us (unlike their contemporaries), but their inherent value remained the same as fallen image bearers.

Bad-faith interlocutors like Mr. Strange are free to throw out accusations like "Wolfe is calling for a violent revolution" that directly contradict Wolfe's own statements.
But this is the response people in his tribe give out when you try to defend people like Wolfe.
