@TheLarkInn One big reason: 3rd party libraries that are already written in sass and require a sass build pipeline to theme and customize.

Is there anything in 2022 that SASS can do that PostCSS isn't already accomplishing? I see lots of projects using both and that seems like a lot of AOT overhead.
