I don't see how a must-finish-N-stories "Sprint Goal" does anything at all useful for anybody, at least not if you have any pretense of agility. Everything from effort to "value" makes no difference. You won't know the value (or the effort) until after you deliver. ↓

@EdDebug It Is the fans. Just went through the same thing (without the keyboard). It’s a night&day difference since cleaning them. If you’re comfortable, open it up (make sure you get instructions online first). Air-cans just blow stuff in deeper and you risk condensation. #macperformance

My MacBook has been really overheating and running slow, until today where it has been on all day and is cold. I did two things: Sprayed air into fans and cleared out dust and broke the external keyboard so I have no external monitor. No idea which fixed it grrrr.

@sqlity Why don’t you demo instead? A few ideas… Execute the query and run sp_whoisactive to monitor. Alternately you could use query store or extended events. Another option would be to put an appropriate index on the tables and see which index was read.

#sqlhelp, looking for a convincing article: I have 2 tables in 2 different DBs but with the same name (db1.dbo.tbl & db2.dbo.tbl). I also have an SSP db1.dbo.sp1 that SELECT * FROM dbo.tbl; When calling EXEC db1.dbo.sp1; while being connected to db2, which table is accessed?

Confirmed: The DNS records that tell systems how to find Facebook.com or Instagram.com got withdrawn this morning from the global routing tables. Can you imagine working at FB right now, when your email no longer works & all your internal FB-based tools fail?
