Having a trip. Memory lane is a thing . Mam. She had brain tumours. I kidnapped her from the hospital.they thought I took her to the hospital coffee shop. Unfortunately I forgot the way 😶,we went to the seaside instead. Mam loved it, the one time she liked me breaking rules

Had to journey to our nearest town about 20kms away this morning. There is more #litter, more #plastic, lining our road verges than #wildflowers. Hard pressed to find 10 meters unsoiled. Local obvious reflection of the state of the #planet & the #human condition. #shameful #sad

A #sentimentalscarves swerve for the #knotandtriangle club this week. At the funeral party for my cousin Helen - one of my all-time favourite humans - her daughter arranged all Helen's scarves on pegs on the wall for anyone who wanted to take one. This was my choice.

@CollettWriter It was. Love your bulb thought. I have several plants in my garden which were purchased to bloom at the time of passing of those who have been closest.

@st33phen It was such a nice idea. After my mum died, a ton of bulbs arrived for the following spring and I sent small batches to all her closest friends, so they could think of her every time they came out. Spring is such a life-affirming time!
