@dabearsblog Trading JJ makes no sense and pushes them farther away from contention. 24 y/o playing his best football in a top 5 premier position when money isn’t an issue nor will it be over the next few years. Simply does not make sense to trade him and create another hole to fill.

I’m by no means suggesting Bears are unique. They’re not. But this is still boring. Do I care if they trade Jaylon Johnson? Nope. Not in the slightest. I care about the Bears being title contenders and they’re nowhere near that conversation so who cares if they trade a corner?
