In the dis songs Kendrick talk about how he's felt about Drake their entire career. If you listened to the songs, you know how the man feels. And there's boundless evidence he's felt like that the the entire time. Not sure what part you find confusing. The evidence is there, if you disagree fine, but the songs and lyrics disagree with you.

@sterlingsanders @HotNewHipHop You’re referencing a song from 2011. Yet in previous tweets, you said that never changed and that he’s been jealous for his entire career. You also said anyone with a brain can see that. So like I said… what did YOU see between 2011 and 2024 that lead you to believe that?

Former Aftermath artist Stat Quo alleges that Drake used to send Kendrick Lamar songs hoping to collab, but Kendrick routinely declined because he didn't like Drake: "If y'all don't know, for a long time, every time Drake would do an album, he would send Kendrick something to get on. So this is going on behind the scenes. So, anyway, Kendrick has not liked Drake for a long time." (Via @TheCompanyMan & Culture United)

*sigh* If a person is jealous and hating on a singular individual in 2011, and in still jealous and hating on that same person in 2024, the idea is that *nothing* changed. That's how words work. My point has remained consistent, he was jealous and hating the entire time. This is not a difficult concept. From my first tweet to this one, it's the same exact point.

@ifneilkeptgoing @HotNewHipHop Go listen to the song, he's talking about how he's jealous of Drakes buzz and spot on the entire track, but is surprised by the love he receives when they meet. It is what it is. If you're ear's don't work, we have nothing further to discuss. Cheers.

@sterlingsanders @HotNewHipHop Why are you jumping to call that jealousy? What if he simply doesn’t like the guy? Again, there seem to be plenty of reasons for him to feel that way other than jealousy.

Brother, if you don't know how to listen lyrics, that's on you, not me. He literally goes from "I act like an infant when you are mentioned," on Buried Alive Interlude to "I'm the biggest hater," on Euphoria. What makes YOU think it was any different when it's ALL in the music? Unless you think Kendrick is a liar?

@sterlingsanders @HotNewHipHop In whatever interactions you saw between the two of them in the last 15 years, what would tell you he’s been jealous of him the entire time? Is it possible that you’re just projecting the jealousy that you’d have of Drake if you were Kendrick?

@Stephan59012859 Maybe go listen to Buried Alive Interlude? Kendrick’s default position never started from “let me see how this guy moves,” it started from a position of “why him and not me?”

For you Drake fans in the comments talking about Kendrick always been a hater NO!!!! Let me school you respectfully this time. There are two type of men in this world. 1 of these types of men will champion you in the public and continue stabbing you in the back with subliminals for over a decade waiting for the day you fall for the banana in the tailpipe act so he can use that to his advantage. 2 the nigga that watches how you move as a man with all your counterparts and everyone around you and decide you move like a snake and would never fuck with you no matter what. Look at how the battle played out “This a friendly fade you should keep it that way” (Kendrick) only for Drake to then turn around and say you a woman beater and your son not yours , and your best friend is sleeping with your wife. Meet The Grahams was ready because Kendrick already knew Drake character he knew exactly what to expect from Drake because he a habitual line stepper always have been and certain people you just can not get over on at all.
CY Chels@SeewhyChels

🚨 Stat Quo, former Aftermath rapper and producer says every time Drake would work on an album he’d send Kendrick Lamar songs to try to get him on the project, but Kendrick never liked him. Stat also points to Drake publicly championing Baby Keem and trying to get in the studio with him as another sign the tension between Kendrick and Drake had been there for a long time. He also suggests J. Cole likely deleted “7 Minute Drill” because Kendrick may have known things about him behind the scenes that could’ve surfaced if the battle escalated. via Culture United on @TheCompanyMan podcast

What I meant by “difficult to determine” is what happened between them personally, not publicly. Sure there’s the obvious indicators from his disses that he thinks “Drake is bad for the culture, liar, colonizer, non-American, unscrupulous womanizer, not real black person, who dresses poorly” I guess, but how much of that is real, how much did he actually experience personally vs how much is rooted in his initial jealousy that he himself commented on in song? How much is rooted in the arrogance of thinking he’s better than everyone? Kendrick has openly talked about his flaws throughout his discography, I’m not breaking news nor and I slighting him for mentioning it. Did he really battle Drake with nobility in mind for “the culture,” or was it simply a convenient rhetorical device for which to couch petty revenge, express years of disdain and hatred, and act to exorcise of his jealousy? The answer, like life, is likely a mix of all the above. He apparently even talked to god about it, and chose to go to war. Gave in to the vices in his own personality. Not sure how this line of think implies I’m being disingenuous.

Brother, that’s just not true, all of the people I listed either got on songs, made comments, or mentioned what side they were on during that process in public support of being against Drake. So *YES* it *all* counts. It was clearly far more people than 6. And even then 6 of the biggest artist on the planet is still a hell of a lot.

@sterlingsanders @TheCompanyMan You cant count that because the same exists on the other side with artists who support Drake. Media platforms like akademiks and Mal. Akademiks platform someone who said they were going to kil* kendrick. It was six people all having legitimate issues with him.He participatedin it

Kendrick Lamar just gotta tap into that Makaveli mode of saying fuck these Suckaz who ain't being true and wanna pacify a Bitchmade Uncultured Pop Star What would Makaveli do? To me I been saying that Kendrick gotta stop letting up on Ni**az,no more being silent and just set 🔥 to any Ni**a that's online pacifying for Drake and trying rewrite history of wtf happened...They ain't with you, they against you...Mothafuckaz are forgetting about the disrespect to Whitney, how Drake spoke on his lady in a disrespectful tone a few times.... What about behind the scenes shit with Drake, wanting to pay people off through bank transactions #Bitcoin for whatever fuck shit that he would pay for to be done...What about the lies, the propaganda being pushed on Kendrick by paid accounts on social media that constantly make lies up about him beating Whitney, fake altered AI pics of her having a black eye...What about the constant spread lies about Kendrick using bots, what about how Akademiks literally admitted he was gonna leak Kendrick's new music...What about Drake having ties to accounts that have a Smear Kendrick campaign of all negative posts... Drake has had many people post lies about Kendrick but somehow J Cole,Jay Z,Camron and Gillie over the last few weeks are coming to the defense and pacifying this Uncultured Predatorial Pop Star because we won't let up on speaking on his character flaws and him suing over a diss song 🫵🏿 Y'all Bitchmade for pacifying a 40 Year old Fuck everything that ain't being true...What would Makaveli do?

You’re never made a mistake a learned a lesson from it? He already apologized and regretted his contribution to stepping over the line at the time his battle with Nas happened. His mother even made him apologize. It’s ok to mature and change perspective as your vision of landscape expands.

@Dee1music 😂 the way Jay has so many of y’all fooled is actually impressive! How can He complain about the negative effects of Hip Hop battles yet still be a contributor to it? He provided Kendrick the platform to call Drake a damn pdfl on one of the biggest stages….

Hah, who you tellin’? But if you listen to the Kendrick “fans,” it makes him “Real AFK…” apparently… … …none of these guys are perfect, we give nothing away by admitting they are human and flawed just like all of us. Anyone with ears and a brain could tell Kendrick has been jealous and hating on Drake his entire career. Hard to determine why, but even more difficult to separate his dislike of Drake from that jealousy, and jealousy of his success. Kendrick wanted to be on top. He finally got there by doing one of the things he does best, hating, unfortunately.

@TheWatcherOO7 @HotNewHipHop Well, yeah, Kendrick already expressed his jealous on Drakes first album, and that never changed up until he called himself the biggest hater in Euphoria. This is nothing new. But nice to confirm it from a 3rd party.
