@insiderassasin If he had real power, he could've had NLU removed from streaming, and that meeting the claim didn't happen got dot to apologize. No wonder he jumped in the battle. These podcasters had his ego hyped up to get his head stomped out.

Nobody in the industry confuses artist leverage with institutional power lol. If he had real power he would’ve won that lawsuit & it wouldn’t be dismissed by a judge, & we wouldn’t be sitting here listening to podcasters try & prove a point. If he can give 3 years of a career why have we not seen any of his artist pop & break through the industry & break records. This narrative is getting TIRED. *Yawns*
CY Chels@SeewhyChels

🚨 Ray Daniels says Drake is more powerful than Lucian Grainge. On the Rory & Mal podcast, Ray says the music industry feels the gap when Drake isn’t dropping and that a Drake co-sign can give an artist “three years of a career.” Ray also says Drake’s lawsuit hurt his standing in hip-hop, adding he believes Drake had more power than Lucian but handled the situation the wrong way.

@spankasaura @Coldcczn @HotNewHipHop It doesn't matter who created it. It told me everything I needed to know. Yep, you are from Canada, so you aren't aware of anything to even have this conversation. All the white rappers you name Eminem and Mac have actual talent. Jack harlow doesn't have it. Conversation over.

@Michell42218499 @Coldcczn @HotNewHipHop And to end off it doesn’t matter who “created” the genre, Her music was in fact much less country than the other artists Or at least country as it stands in pop culture I’d still categorize it as country but it’s not an un valid opinion

Charlamagne Tha God reacts to Jack Harlow saying he "got blacker" when discussing his new album "Monica" on the NYT Popcast: "I'm a neo-soul junkie. I love the Jill Scotts of the world, the Erykah Badus, whatever you wanna call that genre. That ain't it, bruh." "Let me tell you something, I like Jack Harlow. I've met Jack Harlow, we've interviewed Jack Harlow, Jack is a nice guy. But I told y'all on Friday that this album made him whiter. And saying the music 'made you blacker' is exactly why I said this album made him whiter... You gotta be really white to say that this music made you blacker."

@spankasaura @Coldcczn @HotNewHipHop I hate when yall do that everything bad is only done by the black community BS. She was snubbed by the Caa and told by country music artists that they would be more accepting if she came down and hung out with them. Who are a group who didn't create the genre tosay howCM sounds?

@Michell42218499 @Coldcczn @HotNewHipHop To pretend it’s not more common for our community is stupidity at its finest. Beyoncé GOT WAY MORE love from everyone than hate. A loud minority means nothing, this is a pure hate campaign in jack. It’s not disingenuous at all. And Shabs music isn’t “normal country”

@SmokeyAndLit We are talking about two instances he was involved in again. One the house, he never said that, and two the store. Facilitating an armed robbery is a felony. Do you know what you wrote he wasnt involved in the streets. Which would be a lie. By your own example in his music. Goofy

By this logic a crackhead shoplifting out of 7-11 is the same type of nigha as a drug dealer with bodies. The law don’t even look at these nighas the same. The streets DEFINITELY don’t. This why mfs who not from the streets need to stop speaking on em
Michelle@Michell42218499

@SmokeyAndLit @Egoist1275 @ReedMySole Idiot you were the one who said he quit. Now he stayed and pretended he didn't know them. That's still not a lookout. Letting your friends rob the store is the definition of street sh**. Go about your day. Like I said, you're comparing crime levels now. Its stupid.

@SmokeyAndLit Thatscalled facilitating an armed robbery. A felony. We dont know what he did in the house because he didn't share it in the music. Still a felony still street sh**. Like I said, comparing levels of crime. Its goofy and embarrassing. First, he wasn't in thestreets now he was.Stop

@Michell42218499 Going to work and standing by while other nighas u know rob the place does not make you a street nigha. Playing lookout while nighas burglarize a home does not make u a street nigha. Being present when a crime occurs does not make u a gangsta. His ass was a flunkie.

It's way too many people commenting on black culture that have 0 knowledge on its origins. Kendrick is doing what we call a jail pose. Has kendrick been to jail? No but he survived the trapings of the system. Also one could argue that the pose comes from us taking pictures with a lot of people so some have to squat to be in the picture. Ultimately its a hood thing.
Nwankudu Osinachi@Osinachi_W

Now I see why Drake kept poking at his height during the beef. It seems like it's something he's insecure about. Because why is he always squatting in his pictures, or is that a Compton thing I don't know about ? 😂😂

@SmokeyAndLit @Egoist1275 @ReedMySole he told us he was in the streets. His friend got shot as they were running away from doing a home invasion. Thats how he got introduced to God by a woman he met after that incident. Go LISTEN to the music. More often than not, yes, they are in the streets. Unfortunately.

@Coldcczn @HotNewHipHop We dont have to be embracing. Black Americans created country. Now its a 98% white genre who tells artists like shaboozy and Beyonce they aren't country enough. They gatekeep a genre they didn't create. But to make it seem as if only black people do this is disingenuous.

You’re missing the point completely. Country music artist can do what they want. My point is, we know we have the most influential culture out there. We should’ve more into embracing each other and others. Jack not no culture vulture, he not white kid trolling hip hop. He’s a young kid who wanted explore neo soul and we had to come at him like this? And he’s shaboozy could get attacked by country fans but also ALOT has embraced him.

We as black people may be looking at loosing our influence soon cuz we be so hateful to everything these days. I’m 100% positive of Shaboozy made a soft rock album and white peole went at him as hard as we going at Jack for making something soulful, we’d be calling them white folks racist 🤦🏾‍♂️
