A new look in the clubrooms The honours board just got an upgrade, now expanded in size and updated to reflect the latest silverware. a massive season for both the men’s and women’s teams, with more trophies earned and now cemented into the story. Come see it this Tuesday night as we take on Dandenong City. This season, we go again.

Another intense match week with four fixtures in eight days, and another month ticked off. In just two months since the opening match of the Oceania Pro League, our senior squad has already played 16 competitive fixtures, with only one at Lakeside, across four countries and a range of testing conditions and climates. It was an honour today to visit Woodford International School in Honiara, where our players and staff spent time with students, talking football and sharing plenty of smiles along the way. Moments like this remind us how powerful the game can be and a big thank you to everyone who helped organise the visit and welcomed our group so warmly. Did someone say Six Seven?

What’s the best way to fly from London to Melbourne? Via the Solomon Islands, of course. Matt Brown did exactly that yesterday, travelling halfway around the world to support our men in their OFC Pro League clash against Vanuatu United in Honiara. Matt is the son of former South Melbourne legend Doug Brown, continuing a proud family connection with the club. While in the Solomon Islands, Matt also spent time with the passionate Vanuatu supporters, who backed their side all match in great spirits and created a fantastic atmosphere. Football truly brings people together.

How it started vs how it’s going! George Sarisatvros on the left in our Under 15s, and on the right celebrating his senior debut and match-winning first senior goal last night. A very special moment for George and everyone at the club.

The squad is in for today’s OFC Pro League clash against Vanuatu United in Honiara. Jack Painter-Andrews will lead the side as captain.

Yesterday was a very special day at the club. Not only did we come away with a double header of wins, but one of the most loved people in our community, 𝗝𝗶𝗺𝗺𝘆 𝗟𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗼𝘀, 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝟴𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗯𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗮𝘆. A fantastic way to mark the occasion, with the players joining together after the match for a special rendition of Happy Birthday with Jimmy. And in true Jimmy fashion, he also wanted everyone to know that his other great love, Kalamata, have been promoted as well.

Moments like this. Those Hellas boys. Nine players who had previously featured in our youth teams played across two senior matches in less than 24 hours, a reflection of the pathway we continue to build. The schedule wasn’t kind, but the response was. Six points in 24 hours. A massive effort and something everyone at the club should be proud of.
