Stories like this confirm my thoughts last week. Sealed product is being ripped at a pace never seen before. Rip n Ships and live breaking has forever changed the hobby. I just don’t see a future where sealed doesn’t continue to violently increase in price.
The $5 pack of Pokemon cards is gone.

Some idiot just bought 50+ packs of ascended for $13.50 per pack on NostalgiaNomics stream, pulled 2 IRs and two regular ex's. Then went back in again for ANOTHER 50 PACKS, and didn't pull a single SIR. Peak addict behavior.

I'm calling it quits, folks. I have lost the joy of collecting. The hobby has become too expensive and hard to even buy ANYTHING, even from the largest sellers like Topps. In the coming days, I will be posting my entire collection for sale. Stay tuned.

I still can’t get over the fact Pokémon botched the Ascended Heroes set so horribly they created Prismatic 2.0.
This set is gorgeous yet it’s going to have the same accessibility issues we continue to see. Really disheartening when the company claims to “understand” the issues.

Never let “it’s too late” be an excuse to make a change to coaching. The Oilers are playing a lot better but there were too many excuses on why firing KK couldn’t be done. Now let’s see how this pans out.
