A few measly minutes of research would've led any Trump voter to learn that his intended policies would lead to the exact same thing they were (at least claiming to be) voting against. Indeed, I would argue that such simple, abbreviated research is one's patriotic duty.

Even when he goes on a slight tangent he inserts little check-ins to indicate that he hasn’t forgotten their question. It’s a great way to lower the temperature and make the other person feel respected (whether they merit it or not).
