@PeteMitchell158 @LexG_III The Accountant 2 is kind of fascinating because you get to watch an intricate, concept-dense franchise slowly realize that it should just be a nice n' normal Affleck-Bernthal buddy cop series.

@LexG_III Just watched this today (and loved it as always), and it occurred to me that it’s gotta be the ultimate example of what you talked about on one of your podcasts in terms of movies where at the end there’s absolutely no way the heroes could explain what happened to the cops.

@LexG_III It just seems like a terrible idea to remake a pulpy horror flick that doesn’t take itself too seriously as a broad comedy. Voight’s ‘97 performance is funnier than anything in that trailer.

@LexG_III Back in the bygone days of taping sex scenes off late night HBO and Showtime onto a VHS, a buddy of mine labeled his particular compilation tape “Agnes Of God” because he figured that meant none of his roommates would ever watch it by accident.
