@chris_vizes The goal is to include preferences on how to design charts too. In special now that we are moving to PBI just the fact that I have the same background image is saving several steps towards migrating the dashboards there.

@tableauing Sounds like it's working really well for you and I'm glad. Do you have more of the layout and style rather than also having all the text objects too in these layouts?

Business dashboards with backgrounds made in tools like Figma mislead business users and dashboard developers into thinking this is a practical approach. I don't understand why Tableau pushes them to the front of Public so much

Loved the session "The Viz is Right" hosted by @MarkBradbourne @thecfelix and Kim Vitiello at #TC23. Great fun and lots of learning! However, a cautionary tale for the contestants and even the host solution. You can't simply use City to get the "Top 10 Cities" and answer that question. Jacksonville and Springfield are not single cities. It has to be in the context of State. Without State, Jacksonville is overstated, and you miss Detroit in the analysis.

When you find out that working with custom Fonts in PBI is even more problematic than it is with @tableau. #allFontsMatter movement is dying

@ZachBowders It does mean a lot that @ryanaytay and @Ajenstat and all the others on stage (and off) made this session possible. I’ve seen how François has directly spoken up and accepted responsibility for mistakes big and small.
