@johngibbonsblog @TheVirgilEffect Is it? Im sat there in a boozer tonight with 5 lads we have been everywhere home away an Europe for 20 years, who are totally disconnected to this team an football in general. When we got beat by barca 3-0 we went to anfield knowing we would win. Now is different. Dont deny it

In what universe do we go through next week? It’ll be the exact same result, if not worse, as tonight 👍
John Gibbons@johngibbonsblog
Be arsed with tactical analysis. If you don’t think we can get through next week pass your ticket on to someone who does!

@johngibbonsblog @TheVirgilEffect I’m bringing my son for his 10th birthday, round trip costing me a grand. Win or lose it’ll be a hell of a memory for him!!

@IHunterJFT97 @SpionKop1906 @TheKopHQ Members with access can sign up their friends tomorrow and jump a 10 year queue. Lfc membership is a ponzy scheme
English

@SpionKop1906 @TheKopHQ Sadly people will pay the price whatever it is. Paid membership for 10 years and no home game for the last 3 years. I have got a hat and scarf though. Club is a shadow of what it was and should be.

@TheAnfieldWrap Hospitality not an option, crazy price. So fans book a cheap flight, moderate hotel. Pay a lfc member of sth (tout and there are 1000s each match, selling to so called travel companies or individuals multiples price of the ticket, forced to hand over their passport 6-700 min
English

@TheAnfieldWrap Reality is a package so bus that takes for ever, drunk passangers, crap hotel. Cost 750 pp so if you bring one son 1500 to 2250 to bring both your boys. That exludes food and all the other expenses.
English

@TheAnfieldWrap Irish fan. No tickets from club despite 15 year membership. Club does reballot 6 days before a game so even if there is a miracle you get 1 ticket and have to pay highest plane price and highest hotel talking 7-800 minimum.
English

@TheAnfieldWrap Half the tickets for city game were touted. The websites were flooded with them.
English

@JayMcKenna87 I hope they investigate everyone in Paris today vs touting tickets for the city game and recent home games. It would shut you lot up very quick.

It’s interesting to see the clubs spin in their response to supporters plans to protest about ticket price increases
For a start it doesn’t tell the full story, and they’ve obviously briefed lines that they haven’t put in the public domain themselves previously

"If you care about this issue, you need to be part of it." Story in full as @spiritofshankly organise protests at rise of ticket prices at #LFC. Understand the club respect right to demonstrate but are disappointed such action is viewed as the next step. liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football…
