Liverpool's 'summer of madness' is delighting its fans in equal proportion to upsetting rival supporters. Once the Ekitike deal is concluded, transfer fee outlay will hit £260m- with further expensive incomings expected. This thread explains how the club is financing it.

@YNWA971 I've not seen an formal announcement of a renewal of the Etihad deal. Estimated men's team will benefit by around £30m from the Puma uplift.

@MoChatra Stefan Borson has mentioned that the City new Etihad deal should be worth £150-175M. The Puma deal £100M, probably around £90M. Are you sure City doesn't have the biggest turnover, if those figures are correct?

Here are my projections for the Premier League's Big Six (based on income and fan following) for the 2025/26 season: Arsenal £770m Liverpool £735m Man City £730m Man Utd £650m Spurs £630m Chelsea £625m

@JesperSeemann Wouldn't be surprised if overall revenue hits £750m based on record-breaking Adidas kit sales.

@JesperSeemann Though both kit launches fell into 25/26, that was purely a marketing issue- it doesn't result in more money from the Adidas deal. My estimate does factor in more money from the Adidas deal- it's slightly trickier to estimate because it's based on sales.

@LFCWorldChampi1 Their own quarterly accounts suggested they'd land at around £640m-£660m. No way they made £800m for 25/26.

Though club revenues are higher than ever, it is those that balance squad investment with revenues (and having competent coaches that said squads believe in) that are best-placed to compete for major honours next season and beyond.

Furthermore, the Premier League's squad cost ratio (limiting expenditure on player and head coach wages, amortisation and agents' fees to 85% of turnover) will be a significant challenge to achieve.
